  8. We are getting a great response, we have three girls signed up so far. If your thinking about taking advantage of this, don't wait to sign up. We have limited spots on Saturday and Sunday. This will be so much fun, and I'm looking forward to it.

  11. Well puppy that is. :-) We finally, after over 3 years of volunteering with our rescue group, we adopted a pupy over the weekend. She came in with her Mom and sister, her mom was a breeding dog from back yard breeder. The poor mom has had way too many litters and she's only two. She was very thin, has a bad skin condition and shy. Her last litter, the puppies died of cleft Pallet. (puppies couldn't nurse) The Mom's name is Sweet Pea, and we named our new addition "Roja" (Ro-ha) She is 3 months old, and I have to say, just the cutest little 5 pound ball of energy. :-) And a close up, of her little wrinkly face.
  12. Those turned out really good. And I have to say, I love when photos have pets in them. :-)

YES Loomis needs a sister.. yeah, yeah... you should adopt one, or two.. :-) lol I'm excited about next week as well. I'll email you early next week so we can come up with a time, I'm still hoping for nice weather. Well for Michigan, for this time of year. :-)

  15. Took a 1/2 day off work and decide to take more pictures of Ava and Mocha. Ava Mocha,
  16. Thanks Christine, We do really enjoy fostering. And I have to admit the whole 24 hours that we were without a foster, kindof felt really quiet.... Too quiet. :-) Plus lets face it, I'm always looking for new models, so that's an added bonus. lol

Abbie, they aren't your typical Boston puppies, usually Bostons have a smoched in nose and shorter hair, these are mixed, but still pretty darn cute. :-) Quote: Originally Posted by SusanK Great pictures! Ava is a little devil and I think I have a million pictures of her running the opposite way. lol I'm determined to get better pictures today. Hopefully when the sun is still out.. Oh maybe I'll get them a cute little outfit.. lol That should make them miserable enough to not move.. lol
  18. Alyssa, We have them until they are adopted. We are getting their shots done on Saturday, so the earliest they will go is after that. They are so tiny around 3-4 lbs, and their little feet are so cute. Cain and I were on our way to work today and I could still smell their puppy breath on me. :-) But wow, all they do is eat, poo and sleep.. lol
  19. Hi Erin, we actually do all sorts of things for the rescue group. Foster Bostons, home visits, store event's, fund raising and my husband is one of the board members. We have been doing this for 3 years now. It's hard at times to let go of the fosters, but as you probably know, in the end it's all about helping the next one find a forever home. But I'm not going to lie, if our place was larger and had a huge yard, I'd probaby have 10 dogs running around.. lol Oh and my cat too. :-) Thank you for volunteering, I started out with home visits and transporting. Anything a person can do is much appreicated.

  21. I'd like to introduce our newest fosters, they are 6-8 weeks old and are two females. We named then Ava and Mocha. Ava is the trouble maker and Mocha is more laid back. There first photo shoot didn't go so well, so puppies "one" foster home "zero" Ava Mocha, sleeping in Foster Papa's arms And who can't resist the puppy feet......
  22. When the forum started it was much, much smaller. Now for the life of me, I just can’t keep up with who is who. I thought it might be fun, if we had a place to go so we could learn more about one another. A place where, even if you just joined the forum today, you’ll know why we have a great group of people on here. So here is my thought, I’ll post a question, the next person will answer my question and then post another question. The following person would answer those two questions and then post their question. And, so on. Eventually we will have a huge list of questions and answers, that will give us more insight on our fellow forum members. So, who’s ready to? 1. What is your current job, and if you had to switch careers, what would the other career be?
