  2. I voted for Morgan for two reasons.... One for being a GREAT BDW friend to someone on here that needed an extra boost. And Second, for being awesome and helping me get my new CS4 for a super great deal. :-)
  3. HI Lara, and congrats on your upcoming wedding. I'll try to help with some of your questions, the best I can. A. Officiate IMO I would just try to find someone that you really click with, regardless of what they look like, I mean really, there really aren't too many pictures that focus on the Officiate, so I wouldn't be worried about things like that, instead try to find someone that you feel will give you the wedding ceremony you really want. B. Photography is such an important thing. I had a very small wedding, I didn't really do getting ready shots, but my photographer was there for about 30 minutes to take some photos of me in the room, LOVED those shots, I think an hour would give you some really great shots and memories. Looking back I wish I would have done that, plus I wish I would have had more shots of just my hubby as well. I'm a little confused with the dinner and then leaving to another location for the bed and breakfast. SO you guys aren't doing a toast or cake at the dinner place? just sitting there and eating? Usually if you hire a photographer you have them for a certain time period (unless you pay to have someone come from out of state, then they are usually with you for a couple days, where this won't be a probem) Even if you don't want pictures of you eating, I'm sure your photographer would enjoy the break and eat with you guys as well, then everyone could head over to the B&B and he/she could do photos again there. Maybe you could ask the photographer if they would not charge you for the time during dinner, since everyone will be eating and your not wanting pictures at that time. Disposible cameras, IMO aren't really that great. You might get a couple shots that you like, but most of them are going to be the same thing, I really wouldn't waste the money of them. Plus your photographer should get shots of your guests, so let him/her do that for you. Flowers, Well I guess you don't know unless you can speak with pervious brides. But more then likly everything will turn out fine. I ordered my flowers from my WC, I had no clue where she was going to get them and what the end product would look like, but they turned out better then I could have expected. You just need to relax a little and I'm sure everything will turn out fine. :-)

  8. I totally agree with you, I think it only take a few extra seconds to actually comment on what the person actually wrote, besides I would think that if someone wanted to get noticed as a vendor, "listening" would be a good trait to have. :-)
  9. Well for what it's worth, I feel your pain. Our company is laying off people left and right, my husband and I both work for the same company so if one of us goes, odds are that we will both loose our jobs. I have this strange feeling (along with some things I heard) that I'll be laid off within a month. One can only hope that we all miss the layoffs. Jobs in MI (because of all the big three) are very hard to come by. Good luck and hopefully this round of layoffs doesn't hit the both of us.
  10. Welcome back and congrats, can't wait to see the pictures.
  11. Looks like a really beautiful location for your wedding. One thing crossed off the list, that must feeel great. Now the rest of the planning can begin. :-)
  12. Congrats on being engaged. So where and when are you getting married? LOL Just kidding. Take your time, there are so many beautiful locations that I can see why your having a hard time. Just make a list and start crossing off the ones that you don't think will work, IE maybe one would be too much money for your guest to pay, maybe another one the resport it booked for the time frame you were looking at, etc. Just have fun and once you see the place I'm sure you'll know it.
  13. I like the Hills as well, but I haven't seen it much the last season.
  14. Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your upcoming wedding.
