  1. LOL, no worries ladies. I'm actually going to send each of you an email today. Tiffany gave me all your information, and I' am talking to her off line so we have everything under control, I promise you. :-) Tiffany didn't want you girls to worry. :-)
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum. We have a ton of ladies on the forum that are getting married at the Moon Palace in Cancun so you have come to the right place.
  3. I'm really sorry people are not coming at the last minute. Can't they just take those masks with them and attend? Ya know what, try to stay positive during this process, I know it's going to be hard, but you are getting married to a wonderful man and regardless how many people show up, still try to make the best of it. You can always have an AHR when you return to share the day with those that couldn't make it. Your wedding will be beautiful. Big hugs..

Hi Lana and welcome to the forum. I think you'll quickly find out what a great group of people we have here. Happy planning.
  5. Very exciting.. Can't wait to see how wins, good luck ladies.
  6. Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the forum. This is a great place to land for anyone planning a DW. Best of luck to you.
  7. I wouldn't worry about getting your hair done for your TTD photos. Alot of times your hair is going to get wet. No need spending extra money. :-)
  8. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. RIU is a beautiful resort, we had many quests from our wedding that stayed there. Are you wanting a beach wedding or on the grounds of RIU? If your looking for a beach wedding, usually in the evening the beach clears up. However with any DW you will have people in the distance watching you get married, honestly I didn't even notice them until I seen them in a few photos. Best of luck, you'll love Cabo it's such a beautiful location for a wedding. :-)

Hello Alix and welcome to the forum. We have a great recource here that will assist you in your planning process. Of course if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. Congrats on your up coming wedding.
  10. I then Lisa have given you some great advise. Just make sure you get everything in writting. Find out what would happen if the photographer has a family emergency and can't attend the wedding at the last minute, what would the do with that situation? Will they reimburse you or find a replacement? I would be surprised that the photographer that you have hired, doesn't send you some sort of contract for you to review and sign. So when you get that, just read it and make sure you are comfortable with what you are signing.
  11. I think that's great advise, however I must say, that I haven't seen too many photographers that will do this. Yes I have seen them post those type of photos on their blogs, but they credit it the workshop. I just don't want our forum members to feel they have to worry about this, because these types of photograhers are few and far between.

Well,,, personally I think it would have been awesome if Nibs was at your engagment shoot. :-) But well.. we know why he wasn't. :-)
  14. Awe Melissa, I' am so sorry. It sounds like they love you as if you were their child and I think that's awesome. I know my story doesn't even hold water to yours, but none of my family showed up for our DW, it was hard but I just realized more who my "true" family was. Hang in there, and if you ever want to talk, I'm here.

  20. Hi Darcy, A BD session is a boudoir shoot, basically it's sexy photos of you for your future hubby. the $300 would include the cost of the room, makeup, photographers time and talent, airbrushing of photos and all edited photos on a CD.
  21. I know many people on this forum that did a TTD session and waiting until the got home to have it cleaned. In most cases their dress was just like new afterwards.
  22. I think you have it pretty much covered. Just remember the more varity in your outfits the more photo styles you could end up with. Just have fun with it, and try to stay relaxed. I know some ladies have some wine prior to the shoot, that seems to help as well.
  23. Hi Jen and welcome to the forum. We have so many brides on here that were married in Punta Cana, so I'm sure you'll have plenty of help if you need it. Congrats on upcoming wedding.
