OH what about Lovers beach? You have to get there by boat, but it's beauful, awesome waves and rocks. Their is also a beach that is within the Villas, however it's a little drive from Dreams.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your upcoming wedding. I'm so very sorry to hear about your Mom and Dad. Punta Cana is a beautiful place to get married, and I think either color you choose would be perfect, maybe even do both. :-)

Personally I see it both ways, I just so happened to get married in Cabo and LOVED a local person there (Juan Carlos) so I wouldn't have dreamed of anyone else doing our wedding photos. However with that said, I think the reason why so many people decide to bring their own photographer is for a few reasons. 1. You get more bang for your buck, for example you get full day coverage of your wedding and more then likely a TTD session as well, even some pre-wedding day coverage, so it's like they are there capturing your whole vacation. 2. When you bring your own photographer you find the style you like, your not stuck with a resort photographer that you may or may not like. But it really just boils down to a personal decision, There are many great photographers out there, I would search the photographers near the resort your getting married at to see if you like their style and maybe compare what they offer to some outside photographers and see what works best for you.

Welcome to the forum, I was married in Cabo just over 2 yrs ago and just LOVE that place. This forum actually started out as a Cabo forum, so we have so many reviews on just about every resort in cabo. But in all honesty you really can't go wrong. :-) I was married at the Sheration, if you want to see some pics of the resort, I have a link to my wedding slideshow on the bottom of my siggy. Amazing photos, good luck trying to narrow down your favorites to showcase in your home. :-) You looked beautiful and everything looks like it turned out perfectly.

My husband has a Tungsten band as well. We got it for him for the sole reason that it had a cool design and it would never scratch, well low and behold he's like the very small percentage of people that can't wear the ring. So now after just over 2 years of having it, it looks like crap and we have to find him another one. I know some jobs will distroy the ring (however my husband doesn't do that type of work) but depending on what your FI does, you might want to double check. (IE mostly working with chemicals or automotive repair)

Welcome to the forum. I wasn't engaged, when I started planning our wedding. I think it's a great idea to get a head start, that when when it comes time to actually finialize details, you'll be that much further ahead.

Who are you using for your wedding day? The reason I ask, is because I'm sure they would also do your TTD photos for an extra charge.

Great pictures, I think your FI is going to LOVE them.
