  1. Have you guys already started saving money for your wedding, or did you have to use it all since your unemployeed? I guess, IMO I would see how cheap you can do everything, I had a very small budget when planning my wedding, but in the end it was still beautiful and was well worth it. With that said, I would think you probably have 2 more months before you should really decide if you want to postpone your wedding, so that your guest don't start booking.
  2. Hello Andrew and welcome to the forum. Where in Mexico are you thinking about getting married? In order to have a legal wedding in Mexico, you'll need to be there 3 days before your wedding, have a blood test done and have at least 4 people to witness your wedding (usually not a problem) Also depending on your state law, you may be required to have your marriage license certified and translated into English. It sounds like a lot, but I did a legal wedding and IMO It was worth it.

Hi Andrea and welcome to the forum. I lucked out when I was planning my DW, and found a photographer that lived in Cabo for our wedding. However his prices were very high, and my budget was small so I had to cut back on the amount of time I hired him for. With that said, sometimes you get more bang for your buck, if you bring someone with you, because they are usually there 2-3 days.

    Newly Engaged

  8. Congrats and welcome to the forum. I was married in Cabo, it's amazing there. In regards to you "lovers beach" question, the problem with getting married there, is that the only way to access the location is by boat, and you have to jump off the boat, into the water in order to get the beach, plus there is no area to get ready. I think it would be an amazing location for a TTD shoot, but I think a little difficult for the actual wedding. Just my 2 cents. :-)
