Hi Jessica, and welcome to the forum. I think many brides from the Toronto area choose Punta Cana for their destination wedding. As far as resorts go, there is a thread on Punta Cana with these resorts listed and I' am positive you can find photos and reviews as well on here, that might help in narrowing down your choices. Hello, and congrats on your upcoming wedding. The good thing about destination weddings is that you can go as formal and informal as you like. How about and ivory/white long satin, strapless or maybe with thin straps, flowing gown? I think it would give off a very graceful yet destination wedding look. Most bridal salons has a destination wedding gown section, I'd start looking there.

We have a few travel agents on the forum, I have and are using "Tammy host" and she's wonderful, but honestly all three of the TA's here are great you really can't go wrong. -

I say considering that your friend would do them as well as your wedding, I say go for it. Mainly so that you learn how she shoots and directs you, but also so you can have some photos for maybe your guest book or some people have done the table numbers with a photo of the couple on each table. But of course it's nice to have some photos in your home that aren't all wedding photos. :-)

Those are AMAZING, I think the best TTD session I have seen. So tell me, what do you plan on doing with all those cool photos? I' am sure it's going to be really hard picking some fav's for your wall.

We have many photographers on the forum, I think just start search them out to find the ones you like and then see if they have that day open. I'm sure you'll find someone, best of luck to you.

I joined the forum under the same situation as you are in, wasn't engaged yet but we both knew we wanted to get married in Mexico. We actually started planning our trip before we were engaged, since we knew the day we wanted to get married. :-) This is a great forum for any destination wedding bride/groom, I think you'll love it here. Happy planning and hopefully you get that ring soon. :-)
