I recommend reserving a private table for 10. Don't tell them it's your wedding or they'll pull out the special menus and start talking to you about open bar! Let people order off the menu (we've eaten there twice - it's really good). Even if it costs a bit more, not paying for flowers, candles, musicians, etc. will save you a ton (you'd be shocked actually). Natasha, Do you happen to know how far down the Sheraton is from Villa Del Palmar? (I think RIU is next to VDP as well) I wasn't really considering having our dinner at the Sheraton but since I'll be there anyway I might as well check it out. That's exactly my plan, is to have the guest order right off the menu, we know it will probably be a bit more expensive but since it's a small wedding we can handle the extra costs. Do you think if I tell them in advance that it's a wedding, but open menu they would still try to talk open bar with me?
