  1. Not really Kashmire, I really like the individual cakes, because it's different then what is expected. But on the other hand the cake is super cute. I'm trying to set up a meeting with Sweet Dreams for our site visit but they haven't emailed me back yet, I'm hoping to have my decision made when I come back.
  2. OH forget it,, see this is why I don't play the real lotto.. It just wastes my money now my points. :-((( Hmm do you girls think that should give me a pity win.. lol
  3. Natasha, who idd you get your quote from of $300.00? My WC quoted me 300.00 plus 150.00 delivery and set up fee.

  5. Cute idea Christa with the "circle of love". That could be really cute an unique. I love after looking at all the cabo wedding seeing something that sets it apart from the others. Yes most of the pictures will have similar shots but something unique to us. MeganB posted a really cool picture of her and her hubbys hand print in the sand with their wedding band on the finger it would belong on in the sand. It was a very cute idea and something that is a unique to their wedding. Hmmm I wonder if I could do the table along with the "circle of love" hmmm something to think about.
  6. Yeah I heard that too Kashmira, I thought about doing cardo at least three days a week for 30 minutes. Then doing weights as well, I really need to stop farting around and get on the band wagon... I do good for a few days then get off track. UGH life was easier when I didn't have so much going on..

No we can't have chairs on Pedregal beach, however they will allow an arch or canopy and I know I seen a wedding on Pedregal that had a table on the beach so it has to be allowed, and it has to be cheaper then renting a canopy for $450.00 for a ceremony that lasts 15 minutes, that just seems crazy to me. So all the creative girls on the board, what would you recommend, do you think I should do something, or just leave it to it's natural beauty. I thinking about doing rose pedals but again, to lead where. BTW in case your wondering, yes I'm super anal and I have to plan every little detail and play it back in my head fifty times.. lol
  8. Hello, I've seen some pictures of brides getting married on the beach and they have a small table, maybe a 4 x 2 that they sign the legal papers or the minster stands behind it. Does anyone happen to know if this was something that was included or something you had to rent? I'm still trying to figure out a cheap but nice way to give me something to walk to for our ceremony, plus I was going to do one of those wedding guest photo frames and figured I could put in on the table for them to sign while Cain and I are taking our pictures. Any information you can give would be great.
  9. Welcome to the board Jess. How's the planning going?
  10. You know,,, Davids Bridal has some really cute purses that would match that dress really well. Just an FYI.
  11. Do you think someone like me who is only looking to maybe loose 5 pounds, but wants to tone up would benifit on WW?
  12. Wondering if anyone can help me with something. While I'm in Cabo for our site visit, I was thinking about looking at a few shops for Cains Wedding shirt. He want's to wear a traditional Mexican wedding shirt. Do you know of any shops in Cabo or San Jose that would have them?
  13. Welcome to the board, it's been a life saver for me. If you need any help, feel free to post questions, everyone here is super helpful and nice.
  14. OH NO.. Sarah watch out, Jackie is becoming addicited like you.. lol
  15. Thanks Tammy she called a few places tonight and we have a car for Alamo for like $36.00 total to two days. Not bad. I feel bad about giving her a hard time about everything because she is really pushy about paying for everything so far on this site visit. I think I'll be equally pushy and insist on paying for all the food while were there.. But shhhh don't tell anyone I feel bad about her driving me crazy.. :-)
  16. Hi, as some of you know, I'm going to Cabo for site visit on November 14 and leaving the 16th. I was thinking with all the places we need to visit it would be best to rent a car. Does anyone know of a good car rental agency with low pricing? Also, Cain's Ma is flipping out about driving in Mexico, and she thinks we should walk to take a taxi everywhere. Please let me know your thoughts? Thanks in advance

Ask Cain's mother for his birth certificate as you will need to get it translated and notarized to get married legally in Mexico. Maybe it's on that? I already asked Cain and he said his fathers name is not on the BC. I finally got an email back from our wedding coordinator and she said it's fine to put "unknown" in that spot. So that's what we'll do.

BUT is wish Cain was going with me, we haven't been a night away from each other since we met, so I'll miss him.. Plus I'll be drinking non-stop dealin with the FMIL.. lol

It's in a beautiful building (you walk across a bridge to get to it) and the outside terrace is RIGHT on the beach and they light up the waves at night. It looks and sounds stunning. PLUS, they will cordon off a section for you AND it's already decorated. You won't have to worry about candles and such. They have a trio that plays at night as well. That is a great way to save some money. I recommend reserving a private table for 10. Don't tell them it's your wedding or they'll pull out the special menus and start talking to you about open bar! Let people order off the menu (we've eaten there twice - it's really good). Even if it costs a bit more, not paying for flowers, candles, musicians, etc. will save you a ton (you'd be shocked actually). Natasha, Do you happen to know how far down the Sheraton is from Villa Del Palmar? (I think RIU is next to VDP as well) I wasn't really considering having our dinner at the Sheraton but since I'll be there anyway I might as well check it out. That's exactly my plan, is to have the guest order right off the menu, we know it will probably be a bit more expensive but since it's a small wedding we can handle the extra costs. Do you think if I tell them in advance that it's a wedding, but open menu they would still try to talk open bar with me?

I'm been thinking about adding a 1/2 hour for pictures so maybe durning that time we can discuss further. So far my Wednesday is almost all booked up and I just found out its a sure thing this morning.. lol It's funny really, I send these people an email asking them questions and they NEVER respond or take a month to do so, but I put in the subject line of the emails "site vist" and almost all of them get back to me that same day..
  21. See Jackie, the more you play the chances are that you will win.. :-) Congrats..
  22. Thanks Karla, that goes along with what Juan told me.. Thanks again.
  23. Oh G*D I hope your right. I guess I can bump it as we get closer if we find out it's earlier. Christa, since your wedding is before mine I can plan our sunset time around what it was for you.. :-)
