Jackie, I leave on the 14th. I'm excited yet not looking forward to meeting with WIP. How sad is that, that I'm not looking forward to meeting my WC, that's NOT a good sign... Juan is so awesome that he gave me a suggestion on a nice place to have our wedding on the beach, which just so happens in the choice that I was thinking about as well.. :-) SO maybe it will work out that way.. So I' am excited to see a few of these places first hand.

I figure it might be helpful for the newbies if everyone posted why they picked their resort/location for their ceremony. What was it that attracted you to it?

IMO, ask Juan. He just might know of some. I agree, that paying for a good photographer is one of the most important things to book as it's the only real thing you get to take back with you and share with those who couldn't attend your wedding.

Pretty House Stephanie, right now Cain and In a townhome, when we purchased it we didn't have any pets, so we thought that a 2000 sq ft home would be perfect for us.. Yeah we now have four dogs and Cain's Ma living with us so we are looking to sell in a couple of years. Anyway back to my point..:-) We want a home either on the lake or with several acres as well. I would love for our boys to run like crazy in our back yard.
