Jen is this the first time you'll be in Cabo? If so you'll love it.. I fell in love with the Sheraton, didn't look at dreams but I feel like I've been there with all the weddings from this forum.. :-) SO I'm sure you'll love it as well. Right now were having our dinner at De Cortez, which is located at the Sheraton, (see below for pic) they have a candle already on their tables so we are going to incorporate them in our decorations. I'm leaning towards the starfish and green sea glass on the table instead of rose pedals. I sent Maye an email to find out if I can but them there and at what price or if it's best for to get them before I arrive. Course I change my mind several times before I finally make a perm decision.. so who knows right now..lol

LOL,, well then Ed I'm sure you will be taking my title away from me soon. :-) I think 15-20k is very reasonable for a small wedding, even more so if you do an AI resort. I think those activities are possible in Cabo, well I know the jet ski is, but you'll have go closer to Cabo San Lucus for that.

Do they have dollar stores near you? You might be able to find those bowls there. Or check your local craft store. I'd like to do the glass center pieces but I don't want to bring them to Cabo with me. So I'm working around what De Cortez already has..

Valerie, I like the first picture..... They are really cute.. How do you plan on setting up your tables?

Our wedding colors are green and ivory so the starfist with green sea glass would tie in really well I think,,, plus it's so out of the norm, that's why I like it.. :-)

I think on the tables I could do the tan starfish and then the a colored sea glass, that could be pretty.

Hmmm I like the blue you posted on your first post. I wonder if they have them in green.. But the blue is more "natural" looking.

My only worry is that starfish on the table could be kind of bland because it doesn't really add color.. What do you girls think? BTW JIll they have starfish wedding bouquet jewelry, their very cute and another great way to add a starfish to your theme..

ROFL, Jill that is the reason I didn't get flip flops.. Course were having a beach ceremony so I'm sure they wouldn't have heard it anyway, but I didn't want to hear the flip flop sound when I walked either.. lol

I have a train on my dress as well.. Not too long, but alot longer then I wanted. I plan on having my train out during the ceremony and some of the pictures. I also plan on going barefoot during the ceremony and I have a pair of shoes that have like a 1 inch heal. My dress was made to length without shoes. BTW, We MUST see pictures of your dress. lol

Good find Ann, those would look awesome on a table to brighten them up.. BTW it was my suggestion on the DIY shoes.. They have these wedding jew's you can use in your bouquet, I found a starfish that I'm using for my "something blue".. anyway, depending on the size you might be able to order a couple of those and glue them on your shoe.. However I know our local craft store sells really small starfish so I'm sure you'll find some that would work..
