  1. Jessalyn don't say that, I like having someone else getting married at the Sheraton.. :-(
  2. don't know how I missed this thread before,,, Hmm I must be loosing it.. Anyway everything looks great and I can't wait to see the rest of your photos. Congrats and glad everything went well.
  3. I was going to but recently decided against it.
  4. You know, I'm in the same boat as you, I've been under so much stress that my face has been breaking out. I'm thinking about buying the ever famous proactive, and if that doesn't work I plan to see a dermotoligist. If Tammy (host) or Sarah sees this post I'm sure they can offer up some suggestions.
  5. Gosh good question. I seen a buffet set up at the Sheraton for some event they had going on and it looked nice, nothing special but still nice. Were having a sit down dinner, but our wedding is on the small size so it wouldn't make since having a buffet.
  6. I can't wait to see mine. I'll post a pic when they arrive... thanks again Glenda, your the best.
  7. send a PM to "host" aka Tammy, she's a TA and had her wedding at Dreams and I'm sure she can help you.
  8. You can always send it to us via PM... (see we have an answer for everything) I'm not worried about this forum, besides I've pretty much scared him away from the planning process with showing him the budget so I'm good.. lol
  9. If anyone is interested in inquiring more about the Sheraton, here is Irma's contact information, she's out of the office today but she'll usually respond within a few days. [email protected]
  10. Were having a small wedding, so were just having a dinner. The food at De Cortez is about 20.00-60.00 a plate depending on what you order. I want my quests to order off their menu but they can set something up for you that could save you money. Do you have Irma's contact information?
  11. Amber I was going to get married on Pedregal but going from hotel to Pedregal then do dinner location back to hotel was just getting to be too much wasted time. The $330.00 is the cremony set up fee for the beach "total". The beach I would say is somewhat private, when I was there in November most of the people swim in the pool because the ocean isn't swimmable at the Sheraton, the vendors leave around 5:00 and the beach has just a few people walking on it. Even during the busy times it's not that busy. The other nice thing about the beach is that both resturants are on either side of the resort so they can easily block people from that area. The link that Jessalyn posted has some good pictures. I can post more if you want me too...
  12. Thanks Jules, I really should because I'm in big PMS mood today. Maybe it will help.. :-)
  13. I didn't yesterday, I had to renew my DL at the SS office. Maybe today if I can't find a reason not to.. lol

I wouldn't worry about it, Sand is never even, you may end up having to hold your dress up a little as you walk the beach, but that's not a big deal. Wear what you love and make it work. :-) BTW, Ummm we need to see a picture of your dress...
  15. Hi Brandy, The main differance between Sheraton and Dreams is that Dreas is an AI resort, so if your having a large wedding in Cabo, you'll end up probably saving money having it there. I'm having a small wedding, (10 people max) and were getting married at the Sheraton. They don't have an onsite WC to do a legal wedding in cabo (she's more of an event planner, not a WC) but Irma at the Sheraton is great to work with and will help you in booking your reservations for dinner, ceremony or whatever. I also hired a WC (Maye C.) who is actually handling most of the details of the wedding. Getting Married on the beach at the Sheraton is actually pretty reasonable, it's only costing us $330.00 and that includes chairs, chair covers, tiki torches and a table for signing of the license. Then were having dinner at De Cortez, which is located right next to the beach. I wanted a romantic, intimiate setting for our wedding day. The second I stepped foot on the Sheraton grounds I knew it was the place I wanted to have our wedding. If someone is interested in a church or garden wedding they also have both locations onsite as well. Both are very pretty (do a search on Sheraton and there is a post with pictures of the resort) If you have specific questions feel free to ask, and I'll try to answer.
  16. I'm going to hopefully find out more after Valentines day when I order my wedding band. I was hoping you girls heard of it and someone actually new someone who had it done that could show us girls what it looks like.
  17. Thanks so much Glenda for doing this for us. Your awesome..
  18. I'm actually the opposite, I never thought I could get married without a veil but it just didn't look right once I put it on with my dress, I already purchased some hair stuff but I really like the idea of putting a flower in my hair.. I'll have to see, maybe I'll have both there just in case I decide one way or another.
  19. Ok so I was talking to a girl I work with who's also engaged and she told me today that the jewerly store she got her ring from does a different "bonding type thing" other then actually bonding the ring together. (I'll see if I can explain it to you) Picture this, it's kind of like a puzzle piece two circles type things are put on your wedding band and one circle type thing on your E-ring, when your ring is off, they slide into place so that they "lock" into place. Once you put the ring on they don't slide opposite of each other, and it will still enable you to wear them seperate. I asked her if they are uncomfortable wearing them seperate and she said nope, they are fine and you don't even noice a differance. Any of you girls hear of this before or know someone who had it done?
  20. Jen those pic's are awesome, and I love your dress. Can't wait to see the rest.
  21. Well to do a follow up on this thread, I went to the store again on Sunday, and tried on their two carat eternity band, It was really pretty, but in all honest I felt it took away from my E-ring. So I'm going to go with a custom wedding band to match my E-ring. It will look really similar to the 5 stone one that I posted
