  1. I agree with what everyone already said. I was stupid in the beginning to think it would be just be a grand to get married in Cabo.. ha ha yeah right, I'm not at 14k.. BUT with that said, that price includes, dress, wedding bands, RT flight for 2, resort for a week, wedding (or course) WC, flowers, hair and make up, dinner, and other stuff. We are expecting about 10 people. Also we are including our honeymoon in our stay. So if you think about it, it's not that bad.
  2. I'm having a trial done the day before. Hmm check in is at 3, now I have to figure out an alternate plan on getting ready... Maybe it's better if I have the Sheraton do my hair versus using who Maye uses, that way I can head over there right away and go to the room afterwards..??
  3. can't help with your question, but you have come to the right place, these girls are awesome and will help in anyway they can. Congrats on your upcoming wedding..
  4. That dress is really pretty.... If the straps are tight on you, I guess I can see why it would be hard to dance. I think a second cheaper one for the reception might be a good idea. *****Question********* How long did it take your stylist to do your hair and Makeup?
  5. Hey ladies, I have a question, maybe more so for the brides. How long did it take for your Hair and Makeup to get done? Here's my problem, were staying at VDP for our Cabo trip, however our wedding night we are staying at the Sheraton. Well check in is at 3:00, Juan is meeting me at my room at the Sheraton at 5:00 for a couple pics and then we'll meet up with Cain for some before pictures. I'm a little worried that two hours isn't enough time to get ready. I emailed Irma at the Sheraton and she said she can't get me early check in, she "might" be able to get me in at 2:00 but won't know until the day before our wedding. Any advise?
  6. Bank is for your points, you can put them in the bank to earn interest on them..
  7. Ok I just read your review and looked at all your pictures.. Wow, everything turned out really nice, I love your dress. The resort is really pretty. Great review. I just have so many good things to say that I'm actually lost for words.. Me lost for words, who would have guessed.. lol... BTW I Love these candlesticks, did you get them or are they from the resort?
  8. Oh you'll have a blast.. Are you planning on meeting with a WC, photog, cake person? I went in November and was super busy but had just enough time to realize how pretty cabo is and even more excited to go back for our wedding.
  9. I think it's a great idea, and I think the blue would look great in Cabo..
  10. If I remember correctly Tammy noted to her guests that airport transfer was already set up for them. Maybe it was included, that I don't know. I'm sure she'll chime in.
  11. I think that is a great start. For me, I wanted to do something that I knew they would use and not just throw away when they got home. I'm doing Tequila and shot glasses for the guys, the girls are getting Pash's and each couple is getting a picture frame to frame the group picture of the wedding.
  12. The beauty of having a DW is that anything goes. You can do as little or as much as you want. We are having a dinner, cake and then depending on the time we may end up at a club downtown. We'll pretty much wing in that day. Anything goes.... shoot maybe we'll all put on our swim suites after dinner and go for a swim in the pool,,,, anything goes.. :-)
  13. maybe you can make the stones skip on peoples heads.. lol...
  14. Ok post your dress again so I can see it. I like Rebecca's idea about getting a second less expensive dress for your reception that you will fell comfortable dancing around in.
  15. Jpkw, I want to use the sand in Cabo as well, but I'm going to do it maybe as a base color and put in white and green...
  16. Hmmm I actually like them bigger, with them by the pool would the smaller ones be too small where people wouldn't notice what's on them? I like the bigger ones because you will notice the design more.
  17. Great finds Springbride. I found some but WAY more money... I like the larger opened ones so that it's easier to pour into
  18. I remember when I was little as and art project we did a sand frame (with out the pictures) and for the most part the sand stayed in, but if you tipped in on it's side it would leak out a little. You would have to fill the frame in order to get a true look of it, plus how do you plan on filling the frame, you would think with the wind blowing that it may be hard getting the sand inbetween the two pieces of glass... Just a thought..
  19. Hmmmm,, or you could throw the stones at your FMIL in hopes to knock some since into her.. lol... J/K
  20. I seen the pic in the other thread, I'm just still a little interested to find out if the sand will leak out. Have you tested it yet?
  21. Hey Natalie, is it a special type of frame that you got at Target for the sand? I've found some decanters with lids online that could easily work. I'm going to do some more searching before I start to post some links...
  22. Jilly I'm actually searching the net as we speak looking for ones that seal. I'll post if I find one.
  23. So for the brides that already got married or the ones that are planning on doing this, how did you get your vase (filled) back to the states?
  24. I think I seen a set that the center vase has a cap on the top of it so that you can travel back with it.
