  1. I'm using her as well, and she's been great. I think you'll be happy with hiring her.
  2. Sarah I just sent Cain's aunt the info on Burlingtion coat factory. She is also having a really hard time finding her flowergirl dress, maybe she'll luck out there.
  3. Were doing individual cakes for our guests.. We were quoted $25.00 for each. Yes that's alot for a flippin cake, but were only having around 10 people so in the end it's not "that" bad..
  4. I'm sorry Sarah I didn't notice the dress, I was too busy looking at how cute your flower girl is.. Soooooo adorable..
  5. Well about the parents gifts. Were paying for EVERYTHING ourselves but we still plan on buying our parents something small. Just so they have soemthing to remember our wedding.
  6. In all honestly, my FI and I do everything together as well, but no he didn't go with me, I want the wow factor the day of our wedding. And IMO I think it should be a special moment the first time he sees you in your dress. Besides your wedding day will be the day you look your best..
  7. That is great news, Like Janet said, I remember when the old board was much smaller, and now we are getting so many new members everyday. Plus I think what sets this one apart from all the rest is we truely have the best group of people on here. People on the knot get so rude sometimes, everyone on here is great...
  8. Well my center stone is 1 carat and with .65 points on the sides and the ring was 8k. I'm having my wedding band custom made, it will be 1 carat and it's going to cost of 3300.00. So having a E-ring custom made doesn't always mean it's cheaper. Just depends on how complicated it is to make and how high of a quality your diamonds you select will be.
  9. Natalie, time to dress up your user name.. :-)
  10. Well we are on a VERY tight budget, and poor Cain is working a ton of OT to pay for the wedding. I also refuse to go into debt over a wedding, I won't lie, it's hard at times paying for your normal monthly bills, and trying to actually pay off bills at the same time that your trying to pay for a wedding. BUT writing down all your expenses really does help, I had no idea where our money went until we did this. I sat back one day and say "no way do I spend 400.00 a month eating out.. But it was true, so I cut WAY back...
  11. Ibourassa, now you sound like my FI, he wanted us to do the whole Pamula Anderson wedding, bikini and all.. lol
  12. NO Thankyou for the laugh Natalie.. :-)
  13. Ann don't worry, when your all dolled up on your wedding day just have Leigh take the "I have to pee" shot for us all. :-)
  14. Natalie, your picture caption should be "8 mile B*tch* :-)
  15. I really like it Jason, it's kindof like a program that you would receive for a play, different and unique always appeals to me.. great job.
  16. Crap I don't play for a long time and I thought I might win tonight.. Stupid lotto... :-)
  17. :-((( I don't like me in my dress either.. :-((( Edyta, you look awesome, seriously.. & MGreen (sorry don't know your real name) I so happy you picked that dress, it really does look fantistic on you.
  18. Glenda, I gave Maye a deposit for her to start booking things for me.
  19. Were having around 10 people and our wedding is going to cost us around 14k. Were also not having a reception. But that price includes my dress, our travel costs and room, wedding dinner, wedding bands, WC, photographer, flowers, location fee for ceremony and many other little things. I am still working out some details on possibly paying for one guest to go to Cabo, so if that happens it will increase our cost even more.
  20. You know, I wanted to do the platter or picture frame idea, but with only a little over a hand full of guests there's nothing that I can come up with that would be cute and not look to sparse....
