Jill that's a good idea, I was also thinking about wine decanters.. It's just beginning to be such a hassle with the sand ceremony that I may cut it out again.. lol.. Maybe I'll do the "hand" ceremony instead.

The dress shop that I got my wedding dress from also wouldn't let me take a picture until I put my down payment on it. It really sounds like you love the 2nd dress. I wasn't prepared to spend 1000.00 on my dress, but when you know it's the prefect dress, somehow you find a way to stretch your budget.. :-) Just look at it like this, if you get the 250.00 dress, are you always going to think "but that other dress was so pretty, I wish I would have spent the extra money on it" If you think this will happen then don't get the less expensive dress, or else a few months down the road you'll end up being a 2 dress bride.. :-)

Cain also "loves" Tungsten rings, he likes that their darker then a normal white gold ring. We actually found one that he likes better then any others he's seen, cost... $270.00.. I guess his ring makes up for my being so expensive..lol

SO, have you decided on a place now?

Ann that is freakin crazy to spend 500.00 on a veil that you will only wear for an hour.. They are out of their mind... Definitly look online and other places.. I'm sure you can find one a whole hell of alot cheaper that is just as nice.

I like them both.... Any chance we can "see" you in both dresses? It's amazing how differenty they can actually look on you.

Minx1969, I'm getting married on June 5th and yes I hired Maye for our WC, only because we are having a legal wedding. If you are planning on a non-legal then I would say you don't need one, and that Irma can probably help you with everything. You'll LOVE the Sheraton, it's a really pretty resort. Jess is also getting married there later in June so you'll see a couple of weddings posted in the next few months.

Do you know how they are typically made, I did a google search and it looks like they are usually yellow cake. But Cain and I are choc. lovers.

Is anyone doing a Tres Leches cake or did one? Can it be done in all Chocolate? What is typically in them? (other then the three milks)

Jeff is such a good model.. lol.. That's a pretty big bottle I was thinking shot glass size or the next size up. I seen them at the airport but I would have a problem getting them when I first arrive (wouldn't you think?) The three small bottles at Cabo wabo for 25 isn't bad..

Where did you read about the avg price of a ring?

That's a good idea... You would think since both of my grandparents were bakers and used to make wedding cakes that I would be good at this sort of think, but I'm not.. :-)

LOL, thanks Jill, and tell Steve thanks as well.. lol The cake would be a buttercream smooth frosting, with the flower on the top, on the bottom of the cake will be a beading and that's where I was thinking about having a starfish (white choc.) lay up against the cake, with brown suger that looks like sand. Ugh I just don't know..
