I bet if you use fabric and attach the rings to a ribbon that is pinned to the fabric you wouldn't have to worry about the rings. Maybe have someone give the shells/rings to them right before they walk down the aisle that way you know they will be on their best behavior.

Since I'm not having a ring bear, I'm having Cain's Ma present us with our wedding bands. And I've actually made up something similar to what you are talking about. Except I'm using our real rings. I think if you (maybe) attach fabric to the shells and somehow pin them on the fabric you'll be fine with your real rings.

I'm looking for some information on Fiesta Americana, Cabo, more specificaly about their Spa and services. Marty is able to get a really good rate there so were trying to decide for our wedding night (well two nights) to stay either there or the Sheraton. I love the Sheraton but as it stands Marty can't get any special rates so I would only be able stay there one night versus two at FA. Plus I want to make sure it's worth staying at FA and having the wedding at the Sheraton (not changing my location, love it)

Does anyone know about FA's spa and where I can get information on it?

Ann I think the rule of thumb is, if they run their own business then a tip isn't required (but I'm sure they would still enjoy it :-) Irma at the Sheraton has been really sweet to us, so If I don't give her cash then I might get her something (not sure what) and of course we would tip the waiter for our wedding dinner.

Well Cain is an only child. But when we first started dating I thought his family was always #1 and then I was #2. It took me a very long time to get used to the idea that he would do anything for his family. Now almost 3 years later I have learned that he is very protective of his family and feels he needs to be there for them (even more so with his Ma) But I know now that he would do the same for me. Some guys are just very protective of their family, we may not understand it but it's actually a very good thing beause he will be like that with you as well. (if he needed to be)

Some how, I missed this thread. I'm glad everything turned out well. I'm a little sad that were not having a shower, it is fun getting together with everyone but we really don't need anything. Can't wait to see your pictures. BTW how was your nerves?

Hi Toby, I'm late in responding but here is my two cents.. :-) #1) I'm sorry I just don't like the hanging fabric in the front, IMO it takes away from your small waist. BUT with that said I love the back of it and I really like the strapless look on you. #2) Is a very flattering on you, and I think when it's actually your size it will look amazing. However, I kind of wish the straps were a little thinner, I think with the thicker straps it takes away from your shape. So I know I wasn't any help because I didn't really give an answer on which one I like more. It really is a hard decision. My advise, don't "force" a decision on yourself if you don't like things about each one, then you haven't found "the dress" yet. keep looking.. And more importantly keep your camera with you as you shop so we can continue to see pics.. :-)

Yeah Ann, where's mine? Just because I'm getting married in a different location and a couple of days before you, doesn't mean that I wouldn't be there in spirt.. :-)

Ann I feel your pain, when we moved into our "brand new" townhome just over a year ago (2 days before Christmas) we woke up on Saturday to a driping sound, we called the emergency hotline and we found out they built our dormers wrong and instead of keeping water off it, it ended up collecting water we hand 3 huge spots all over our living room with water damage. Mind you we were planning on a Huge Christmas dinner (the next day) so between unpacking and fixing the ceiling and roof I was a little stressed. The owner of the unit above you should without question pay for any damage done to your place, but at the very least if you have renters insurance it should be covered there. That really sucks, But look at the bright side,, you got your shoes.. lol
