  1. I'm probably getting 5x7, to me it's worth it to have something hand made. Plus I love how different it is.
  2. ROFL,, welcome to my world, I pee once an hour. If I ever get prego I'll never know by the frequent peeing.. lol
  3. Good, so now you should see this tread again because of my post.. "Hey Ann, drink your water".. lol
  4. that depends on if your having a legal wedding or religious one. For a legal wedding they have to say a certain thing but you can insert stuff (coordinate someone to insert a poem or whatever) for a religious ceremony you can pretty much do whatever you want.
  5. Marla you letting your FI see the dress your thinking about getting?
  6. Angie, I decided to do my dress alterations at the salon where I got it, and good thing too, because the women who would have done the alterations messed up on Missy's MOH's dress, it's too short and too tight, she can't even zip it up. I would have been sooo stressed if that happened to my dress.
  7. Well I drink about 6 glasses a water a day. My DR a few years ago was telling me that 8 glasses was too much for me and that I was flushing out the good stuff.. so I cut back.
  8. Yeah I think that's what I'm doing.. Here it is, it's just a special reading.. Join hands.. These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever. These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other. These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind. These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and tears of joy. These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children. These are the hands that will help you to hold your family as one. These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it. And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch
  9. Jill, what about the "hand ceremony" Melissa, If you do a candle ceremony, just be sure to put them in say a hurricane vase or something that is taller then the actual candles. I think it can still be done, but even in a gazebo I would be affraid the wind would blow the candles out.
  10. Well I'm not sure which one of the price brackets this frame falls under, so this is the pricing that is on Juan's website. I sent him a follow up email, so I'll let you guys know more once I receive an email back from him. Elegant wedding frame 5X7 = $110 USD 6X8 = $130 USD 8X10 = $180 USD Tulipán frame 5X7 = $100 USD 6X8 = $120 USD 8X10 = $160 USD I've seen the coffee table books that you can do yourself. The problem that I'm having with those is the actual cover, I really want a good quality cover and the ones I seen online all look to be a fabric of some sort.
  11. So I inquired about Juan's picture frame that he has advertised on his website and he sent me a picture of it. It's hand made and IMO, just beautiful. Since I can't afford his coffee table book I thought I might get the frame. Anyways, for those of you who might be interested in what it looks like, here it is.. BTW, on the bottom it says "our wedding in cabo"
  12. Welcome, well better late then never :-) Congrats on your recent wedding.
  13. Christa everything looks great, you look amazing in your dress. Congrats and welcome to the Monday blues.. lol
  14. Christa, any pictures you can share with me on VDP? Also how did you car rental go for the two weeks, and what was the finial price and did you have to get the insurance?
  15. I think what helped me is the by month breakdown that the knot has on their site. Most of the time I was ahead of the game but in some cases I was like "oh yeah, I didn't think of that" I would also start getting your passports if you don't have them now. It takes a good 2.5 months so it will save you stress later if you get it done early.
  16. ROFL...that's a great story.. However I must admit if my FI tried something like that I might have to "pretend" to not notice just to see what he was doing and how long it would take him before he woke me up.. lol
  17. Great story and yes, like Lisa said "where's the pictures".. Post them up girl, don't keep us waiting.. lol
  18. Awe Jess that sound perfect. Ann is doing something similar and I'm so jealous of you two.. not fair I want to go to Hawaii as well.. :-(((
  19. Sherri, :-( you don't want to share your wedding pictures with us? I'm so sad now...
  20. Wow there is so much detail in those Jess, Did you actually spend more on them versus what you would have paid if you purchased them from a vendor? You did a very good job.
  21. Jason are you doing a small wedding cake or are you ordering off the menu for your cake?
  22. Jill posted some great advise. Shoot I can put together a "best of" album and someone might book me, but in actually I take about 100 pictures of my pets and get only one or two really good pictures. So if you see an entire wedding you will get a feel of how good they really are. Plus I also think it's important to connect with your photographer, it makes things go much better IMO.
