  1. Ann I love that green one, very pretty... I'll see if I can find my picture of my necklace I have now. I thing I'm not going to do those hair screws (just small bling objects for my hair) and I'm going to do a flower.
  2. So then to avoid me over stressing. :-) what would you guys pick for a necklace? If you choose color, remember our colors are ivory and green.
  3. LOL Ann I was just thinking that the necklace I already got might be too formal for a beach wedding. I just don't want to look "over done".. Ya know sis?
  4. Yes I know I already have my necklace, but like everything else I have to second guess all my decisions.. :-) So here's my dress and here is a pic of a "possible" necklace. what do you think?
  5. Natasha, did you do before ceremony shots with Shawn?
  6. Were holding you to that ya know.. That's great your dress is in, if starts feeling real when you have your dress.
  7. I just went for my first dress fitting yesterday, and my dress will have two different bustles. And personally I love it both ways, but I also think it will be a PITA to get bustled back up.
  8. Ok another question, my neckline on my dress is a kind of a scoop neckline. I'm thinking about maybe changing it to a sweatheart. I want a romantic/sexy look. I can't find a pic online of my dress, front view and my dress pics aren't at work.
  9. not really Christine, Marty is paying for our wedding dinner, so it's costing us the same, but saving her money. :-) OK I take that back, we are doing individual cakes so I won't have to buy as many, so yes I suppose it's saving us a little.
  10. Edyta, I never see you on anymore, how's things going.. (sorry for the hijack)
  11. It is beautiful, it reminds me of my dress, except the top is cut a little different.
  12. NO more to add, but letting you know I'm stealing your idea.. lol
  13. Ok, so after my first fitting yesterday, I started thinking about my train on my dress. So as you guys know I'm having 3 people attend the wedding, (they really dropped like flies) Cain and I are meeting up with Juan for pictures before the ceremony and of course for after ceremony pics on the beach. SO my question is this. For the girls that has trains when do you plan on bustling it up? I started to thing that maybe I'll keep it bustled the whole time. What are your thoughts.
  14. Jess got her's at VS (Victoria Secret) and I actually found mine at Macys, for 10.00 cheaper. Same thing as the one at VS. My seamstress told me cups don't really give you support (well with my dress) and that if you really want good support get a seamless bustier.
  15. Well I was going back and forth on the flower/starfish thing but decided to opt out of doing it for my FI. But that is because he has a color stitching on the sides of his button down shirt and I thought it would look to busy. I think whatever you choose will end up looking great. I've seen it done so it's all personal preferance.
  16. I have to agree wtih Jennette, If your looking at having all the girls wear the same tyle dress I think the 4th one would look the best. However with that said, I kindof like the idea of the BM's able to choose which style they like more and wear that one. OR have your MOH were one style and the other BM's were one of the remaining 3 left.
  17. Love your new dress.. I wish It was a little bigger so I can check out the detail.
  18. D@MN, Christine you look awesome... Leigh, yet again I'm impressed with your work, great job.. Shoot your so good you might even be able to make me look good.. lol
  19. Yeah I need extra strong deorderant, lol.. Those bustiers are a PITA, I asked if I could get away with the cups and she said with my dress the bustier would give me the best look. Crossing fingers that I'm able to say 'I do" before I pass out.
  20. Sorry Ann no camera. I will have one for my next fitting on May 8th..

This is the first time I wore a bustier, other then trying on it for about two minutes... OMG I'm going to be that bride that passes out, I felt like my head was about to explode. Well my dress required not one but two bustle's, the sides are being takin in about an inch on each side and she's doing some work on my straps,, cost of alteration, $205.00. Cost of bride falling over dead in the hot cabo sun, after being in her dress for longer then 5 minutes,,, priceless. :-) My next alteration is on May 8th..
  22. Hmmm I'll find out for you guys. I have to run right now, going for my first dress fitting. But I'll email him later tonight or tomorrow and ask him.
  23. I've had my share of family problems as well. Having a DW is hard, their is always someone who wants to try to ruin it for you. Piss on them, do what you to want to do. And if everyone starts fussing about it, go there alone and elope. But it does really suck that you don't even have a ring on your finger yet and people are already complaining. I'm sorry, that must be hard.
