    I say if you can squeeze it into your budget, do the chair ties, however we at the DW forum now require that all brides that purchase chair ties put one on their head and take a picture. What the knot board has the "knot" so I think it's only fair we have something too.. lol

    I agree with Paula, can you hire an outside baker to do your cupcakes? If not what about the individual wedding cakes?

    Are you marring the same man that you canceled the first time? If so I say wear it, nothing wrong with admitting your not ready. However if it's a different guy,,, that would be much harder. I personally wouldn't want to marry a new man in my old dress I got for a previous relationship, but that's just me.

    Christa, I STG I was dragged on stage and I didn't want to look like a dumb a$$ not dancing.. lol.. Besides I had a chance to get next the the hot guitar player.. :-) I talked to Irma at the Sheraton and she said after the wedding their cleaning crew will pick up the petals, it's all part of the fee.

    Ok so I took a few pictures This one is at Missy b. party. Flower for my hair (I make 5, have NO idea how i'm doing my hair And rose petals for aisle & table & petal toss. Tell me if you like them or if they look too fake..

    Um Ann I don't think they will pay for that veil however I maybe suggest that they for the for shoes of your choice in order for your dress to be the correct length.

    Ok this is the email I got back from the Sheraton regarding petals or confetti on the beach. In regards the petals as long you do not want the petals back is ok J, our cleanliness staff can pick them up after the ceremony…. The confetti toss, as long as it doesn’t stain, no problem..

    IMO do what you want to do, if that means a DW with your FI and no one will go, then so be it. This is your day, and two should be able to have your dream wedding. People will always b*tch and complain about the price, but when they get there and have a wonderful time they will know it's money well spent.

    Jess, (or SS for short (sheraton sis)) If I were you I would buy a better glue gun I think I spend like 10.00 on mine and it has a high setting. Maybe your glue gun isn't getting hot enough. OR warm your glue gun up for 5-10 minutes before you use it, maybe it just wasn't hot enough yet.

    LOL, Sorry Jess.. Ann is my DW sister and I knew she was having problems finding a flower for her hair so I wanted to tell her what I did. lol So now for my Sheraton sis (that's you Jess) Yes I used the bobby pin with the flat thing on the end. It bonded really well, did you use hot glue? I used the highest setting on the glue gun so that it got really hot and it bonded really well. I also probably put more glue then what I needed just to make sure it grabbed the flower well. What type of flower did you use?

    I have fake rose petals as well that I got for our table, and I'm waiting on the response back from the Sheraton on their rules for rose petals or confetti on their beach. I'll be sure to post what they said, but with that said, I would be surprised if they allow the fake rose petalsm unless they say we are responsible to clean them up afterwards.
