    It's a very stunning dress. Have you tried it on yet? I say if you love it that much get it. I never thought I was going to spend the amount I did on my dress but when it's "the one" you have to get it.

    ha ha ha... I actually just talked to her the other day. She's doing well, but she is super busy with work and she also is having some computer problems, she promised she would log on at least once a week to see how everything is going. Her wedding is a year away and she said she hasn't even had the time to think about wedding details. I know I really miss chatting with her.

    Ann I may end up doing an updo as well. I really didn't want to but the other day it was SUPER humid here my hair went from straight to curly and frizzy in a matter of minutes. Didn't look pretty at all..

    I do believe you are the first one to ask that question, most of the grooms wear a suite do to the hot weather.

    I put a picture in the DIY section and a "how to" Seriously it took about 2 minutes to make and I used a fake flower (but looks real)

    I'm doing my hair smiliar to what you described, and I made a flower pin. Also I believe Ann is also doing something similar and she purchased some flower pins.

    Well its his own d@mn fault IMO. He needs to step up to the plate and handle the buiding issues, and you can handle the decor stuff (IE what color counters or something like that) It's not fair that he's making you do everything.

    Great news. We just found out that antoher person wants to go now to Cabo, and they don't have their passport yet, 3 weeks out and they just purchased their air ticket..

    I thought I was only going to spend 400-600 on my dress.. LOL yeah that didn't happen.. lol.. Once your shopping your going to fall in love with a dress and you won't care (well not much) how much you spend on it. I was married before, and my dress is more expensive then my first one, and I had a huge church wedding the first time.

    Welcome, the good thing about planning so far in advance is when it comes time to actually book something you will already have a TON of information so that should help with stress. :-) My only advise,, Get your passport early. TRUST ME..

    I think they look really great, but like everyone else I think the tags make it a bit confusing.. IMO use them for something else.

    IMO I would want the attendants SO's to sit next to each other. As far as where to place the parents compared to the attendants, I suppose if you have the SO's sit with them, then I would do the parents first and then attendants, but I really I don't think people care where they sit because the majority of the time they are dancing and talking to everyone. Even more so with a DW.

    Hmm maybe I'll sell my dress.. :-) I would check online, maybe try ebay. OR have you been the the white house black market store in Livonia? They have some really pretty simple dresses that would look nice. Plus I get coupons all the time so if you find something I can send you the coupon..
