Awe I'm so happy for you two love birds.. Jason I think was and still is our first active groom.. I can't wait to hear how everything goes and I know it will be amazing. The love you two show towards one another is just so adorable and I wish you both well.

Well included in my set up fee was a table for the judge to stand behind. That worked perfect for us. I set my bouquet on it as well as the shell that had our rings. IF your doing a sand ceremony you could also have the vases there too.

IMO it's a far cry to find a home for your pet versus saying "it has to go by x date or I'll put it to sleep" I understand their could be reasons (mind you not many) why somone has to give up their pet. But I'd say 90% of our fosters are from homes that the dog had something wrong with it and they didn't want to pay the vet bill. OR that someone got into a relationship and that other person doesn't like dogs/cats. My point is, that I know this family may have a reason, but a responsible pet owner would either foster the dog until a home is found, have someone watch it for them until a home is found or find a non kill shelter to take the dog too. I actually know a women who gave up her Boston do to a family emergancy and all her money was tied up to help her mom live. Well with that said she paid for boarding at local doggie daycare until that dog was placed in either a foster home or forever home.

Just an FYI I had planned on doing a rose petal toss and putting some petals on the tables the day of our wedding, well it was windy so the petals on the table would have just blown away in seconds and the petal toss... well it went right over our heads and landed on the beach on the far side of us.. SO my point is I wouldn't spend a forture on petals because if it's windy won't have the impact your looking for.

I also was married at the Sheraton. When I did my site visit back in November I met with Emeline at the Hilton and like Sarah said she was great. However the over all feeling I got about the Sheraton was the reason we picked that location and Irma at the Sheraton was great. Don't get me wrong the Hilton is nice resort, but I knew I wanted that romantic feeling to our wedding since it was a smaller one and since the Sheraton isn't just one big building it felt like a little mexican village, the grounds were awesome.. Just everything about it I knew it was the right place for us.

Glenda I hope you gave your friend a good verbal bashing over what she said. If one of my friends said that to me I would go off on them. My parents want a dog, and I told them flat out they don't have the money nor the sence to own a pet and I refuse to refer them to a rescue site.

Well IMO, I wouldn't move out of the country if I couldn't take my dogs. And like you said if they are an older couple they why the h*ll did they get a puppy 5 years ago? And a Rott at that? Rott's need alot of attention and exercise so I bet he's not getting what he needs right now anyways.

People who think like this guys parents don't have the right to own a pet, not even a gold fish... I would never move anywhere my dogs/cat or whatever animal I had couldn't be taken with me. The fact that they are only giving the Rott until the end of July makes me sick. Mark my word, we will find a home for this dog and he will more then likely be much better off. Shoot I would take him if I had a bigger house,, and well if I didn't have three dogs and a cat already.. :-) I love rott's they are great dogs.

Cain just got this email from a guy we work with. Hi Cain, I was wondering if maybe you can help out... I saw your ad on the Nissan website for the animal shelter. My parents currently have a dog, but they will be moving out of the country soon, and need to find him a new home. Unfortunately, if they can't they will need to put him to sleep. He's a Rott, and he's a big baby. He is ok with kids and cats. He's been neutered and has never bitten or attacked anybody. He is about 5 yrs old. If you know of anybody that might be interested, please let me know. They plan on making their decision by the end of July. I'm also contacting other shelters and Rott rescue places. Unfortunately, they are full and can't take any new dogs in, so I'm just trying to get the word out as much as possible. Thanks for any help you can provide.

HI I also got married at the sheraton, however I got married on the beach and our dinner was at DeCortez. To answer your question, I wouldn't see why you couldn't have your wedding at and reception as you stated. The Pitahaya restaurant is seperate from the Sheraton, meaning it's not owned by the Sheraton. But I almost had my dinner their so I know it's possible. Have you talked to anyone at the Sheraton yet? Irma there is awesome to work with.

I was in Cabo for our site visit back in November, perfect weather and then got married there three weeks ago.. Again awesome weather. Isn't October the season for Whale watching?
