  1. ha ha.. seriously what don't we have in common.. lol
  2. To my knowledge if you were married in a catholic church then no they won't bless your marriage since you were married before. But since I was married in a Lutheran church for my first marriage, the catholic religion doesn't recognize that. So we should be ok.

  4. When Cain's aunt got married a month before us, her mother died of cancer and she was really depressed and sad that she wasn't going to be at her wedding. So I purchased a locket from "things to remember" and put a picture of her mom in it, then I purchased a garter and sewed the locket on the garter for her. She loved it..
  5. Hello ladies.. So Cain and I did a legal wedding in Cabo, since he comes from a very religious family we talked about having our marriage blessed. OK so I'm non-denominational and Cain is Catholic. How would that work? And when do you think would be a good time to do it, maybe our 1 year anniversary?
  6. hmm never heard of them. How big is your wedding going to be? I hired Juan Carlos for 3 hours, we had 6 guests and I wish I hired him for at least 4 hours. If you have a larger wedding I would go with 6 hours.
  7. Oh great list,, I think I'll put mine in here too... I WOULD DO IT AGAIN: Cabo.. Hell yeah, it was a blast and now we want to move there it's really the best of both worlds if you want to party you can if you want to relax you can.... Sheraton It really was the prefect location for us Bouquet I loved, loved it.. Maye She really was great and I don't even what to think about how the day would have turned out if she wasn't there. Juan Need I say more.. Granted I still have yet to see my pictures but he really is great, fun and super nice. I WISH I HAD SKIPPED IT: The music, it didn't end up at all what I wanted, since the jazz trio bailed on us (or should I say raised their rate by almost $400.00) so we ended up doing a panio player... NOT AT ALL CABO Rose petal toss It ended up flying over our heads and landed on the beach on the far side of the chairs Ceremony fans Yes they were pretty, but now one person used it, it was a windy day in cabo the day of our wedding. What I wish we did Chair ties.. Yeah I know sounds silly but I think it really adds to the decor Hair & Makeup at Hive Over all my hair turned out ok but the stress it put me though at the Sheraton and having them redo it several times I wish I spent the extra money and had it done at Hive TTD It was probably the one BIG thing I wish I did, if we had the extra money it would have been on the top of our list.
  8. Yeah I tried again and it worked this time.. Wow those were really good non pro wedding pictures. I can't wait to see Juan's now. Everything was beautiful and you looked amazing
  9. wow, I'm sorry you have to deal with this. What a PITA..
  10. I remember seeing her dress in a magazine and I thought it was perfect for a DW, but then I ended up with a dress with a long train.. lol.. Go figure.. :-) Thanks for sharing her pictures.
  11. Try printing one at a time... I even had to put one sheet of regular paper behind it and that would work too.
  12. lol, I love the fact that even without power your able to log on, post and do wedding stuff. lol
  13. Yeah Kash, all pretty so far but this thread is not nearly "pic heavy" just yet.. lol
  14. OH cool, two sets of pics I'll be waiting for today now.. :-)
  15. Were not having an AHR,, Well we don't plan on it. We may have a casual BBW in September when we go home to see the family. But nothing offical.
  16. Just get something in writing. IMO I think part of the problem was because Maye never called to confirm the appointment until the day before. And she should have gotten it in writing. I could have made a big issue out of it but I refused to let anything get to me while on vacation. I still think it would have been beautiful, so if it works out, go for it.
  17. Well I think it "sounds" great. However it didn't work out for us. We hired the duo for our wedding, the day before our wedding day we get a call from our WC that said they weren't going to do it unless we paid them $500.00, keep in mind our orginal quote was $120.00 for an hour. So I said hell no. They claim their "union" wouldn't let them do it for less. So we ended up with music but NOT AT ALL what we wanted.
  18. Natalie, you had me looking like crazy on the forum thinking.. "NO, I couldn't have missed her pics and review" :-)
  19. Jen, tell me more about the coffee table book, did you see any forum girls in there? How fun would that have been? I wish we could have afforded to get the book, Oh did Juan happen to mention the prices of the books? He had told me awhile back that he was going to start offering a cheaper one.
  20. I'm the exact same way, I also do it when I'm being impatient about something.. lol Or bored for that matter.. LOL I thought it was super cute to see.. :-)
  21. Awe very sweet Ann. Hey I have a question, do you fidget when your nervous? :-) I do and it kindof looked like you were a little when you were at the alter just before you started your ceremony.
