    My sister was the same why when she seen my dress she said "oh that pretty" in her own tone that I knew what it mean't.. And the more I thought about my dress the more I loved it, so I went back a few days later and tried it on, and I knew then and there it was the one.. My point is, don't let your sister get in the way of the dress you love. However, if you are "happy" with it and not "thrilled" with it then maybe you should keep looking.

    Photography was number one and then the food. I'm a picky eater so I knew if I like the food they would love it..

    Cain wanted me to wear white too, but when I told him I found the dress I love but it was a light ivory he didn't really care..

    Hmm, that's a hard one. I personally don't like long wait times for local wedding, and a DW might be different. Is 12:00 the only time you can have your ceremony? SO,, 12:00 Ceremony, probably lasts about 15-30 minutes, then you'll take pictures after for at least an hour.. so now your at around 1:30 or 2:00, so that leaves about 4 hours before your reception. Maybe a cruise or I know some people did a gambling night, maybe some sort of activity.. Did you ask the resort or your WC for some suggestions?

    Very nice, I actually had to send Cain the link so he could check it out.. I want to snow board out there, maybe we'll rent that place too.. :-) OH how fun would it be to have a BDW snowboard/ski trip?

    I stayed at Villa Del Palmar and my wedding was at the Sheraton. The only problem with Villa Del Palmar & Villa Del Arco is if you want a beach wedding it's pretty busy. IF you get married at Villa Del Palmar, they are buildling a new resort on the left of the resort, so right now there is little traffic on that beach. The good thing about Arco and Palmar is if your group wants to party all night it's a short cab ride to down town Cabo and you can go to the clubs there.

    Hmm I don't know if the balcony's are connected, I don't think they are.. Villa La Estancia is a nicer resort, and AI.

    I stayed at Villa Del Palmar (Villa Del Arco's sister company, that's right next door) What type of location are you looking for, IE beach, garden, pool side, etc? Out of those two I would choose Villa La Estancia, only because it's more private and it's an AI..

    Mine was a "natural" but it was a very light ivory. I was actually looking for a white dress but when I found mine I wanted it as it was, it was perfect.. IMO I don't think you can really tell it was ivory..

    WOW that is just nuts... I paid to have a hollow hem ($100.00 extra) and then I paid for the alterations of my dress (two sizes too big) and the alterations were about $200.00. So IMO I wouldn't pay over $350.00. I just seen your dress (beautiful BTW) and I really think you should get a second quote..

    I would send out invites to everyone, even if you already know they can't attend. Some people (even more so grandparents) may want to keep the invite as a memory.
