Well I'm not sure what you were quoted for your wedding. I was married on a Tuesday on the beach in front of De Cortez. I paid $300.00 for a site fee (I hear it was close to $3000.00 for a weekend) And because I had a small wedding I paid for dinner by comsumption, meaning they ordered of the menu and all we paid for all the drinks during cocktail hour and during dinner. I think if you hire a WC it might help in telling them your budget and having them help you find a location for your wedding that fits within that range. Also they have alot of contacts so they might be able to get a cheaper rate on some vendors.

I'm glad you are having a postive experience with WIP. I thought they were great at first too but after working with them for 4 months the women kept getting harder and harder to deal with, that's when I choose to go with someone else. Maybe they got their act together, it has been over a year since I had any contact with them. I wish you the best of luck in your planning.

Hmm, have you checked into having your wedding on a weekday at the Sheraton? I know their prices drop for a weekday (I was married on a Tuesday there) Other then that I know Dreams is a great location it's AI so it helps cut down on costs.

Or we could limit it to only one picture to be used? that way it keeps things fair.

We actually thought about that, but never really decided to do it. I know the concerns were that some people are better at making sig pictures then others so we didn't want someone to be dismissed because they weren't good at that sort of thing. But maybe the mods can revisit this question and I'll let you know.

It looks amazing there.. Seriously everytime I see pictures I have yet another place to put on my list of travel spots to see. Your wedding is going to be amazing there. Did you have fun on your site visit? How did it all go?

I did one as well for my MIL. yours looks great Anny.. I have to admit I like the quality better on Mypublisher but you can't beat free.. :-)

I hired Maye for our wedding and over all I would say she did a good job. A few things she let fall through the cracks and I got screwed over on.. IE she didn't confirm our duo until the night before our wedding and then they came back with wanting more then double the price so I ended up with a panio player... HORRIBLE for a beach wedding BTW, you can't hear it AND not at all Mexico IMO... She also didn't show up when she said she would on the day of our wedding, she was picking up our flowers and I was actually walking out the door when she arrived. I was pissed that I wouldnt' have my flowers but it did work out I suppose I had someone there I trusted that went over some last minute stuff with her. (I was meeting DH for before wedding pictures so I didn't have time to talk to her since she was late) But over all, she did a good job, not great but good..

Wow Natalie, that's horrible. I'm sorry you have to go through this, talk about added stress when your having a baby. You don't deserve this, I can understand him going over the timeline a little bit but to give you your TTC pictures and forget about your wedding ones is just horrible. And to top it off post at least two other brides wedding pictures with wedding dates after yours........ Juan needs to step it up or else he's going to loose alot of business from bad reviews. Sometimes as great as his pictures will turn out, it's not worth the stress to deal with this kindof stuff. Add the fact that his prices are almost what you would pay to hire an outside (well not one from Mexico) photographer then I can see alot of business being lost if he doesn't start handling his brides better.

Plus the fact that this is the SECOND time he has done this to you, first he finished Nicoles and now Sarah's that is TOTAL BS.. He knows us girls on the forum all watch his site waiting for new pictures to be posted so we were bound to find out... This is totally unprofessional and IMO he needs to start think what he needs to do to make you happy. (other then giving you your pictures) Did your contact happen to say how long it would take for your pictures to get done?

Oh the pictures are there, I couldn't view them because I didn't know her event key name. But their ready for view. Natalie, their is NO REASON why Juan should go out of order. Did he know you were skipped over? Didn't you already have your TTD pictures done? Hmm so that would mean he knew your wedding was before theirs. I would be very upset if I were you.

When was Sarah's wedding? For some reason I thought it was after yours.

OK so I think we have two "Sarah's" on here that are waiting on their pictures from Juan. So I was looking at his site and notice "Sarah and James" pictures are done.. Umm are you holding back on us.. Post up girls..

I voted for pink... But with that said, most likely you won't have any pictures with your purse (maybe one of it with other random stuff) so I really wouldn't worry if it matches or anything like that. In fact I don't think I have one picture of my purse..

Cabo has a huge downtown area to get a ton of great gifts. All you have to do is tell your hotel you want to go shopping (not in the mall) downtown cabo and "any" taxi will know where to drop you off at.. And cabs are all over that place so you won't have a problem getting back either.

Congrats on your engagement. Prices for hotels will change depending if you want an AI or not and how many days you will be staying (or guests staying)
