Yeah the proceeds (well a percentage of the cost of the painting) goes to our rescue group. Which is great because we have several dogs with major medical problems that we are trying to get heathly.

I wish Christa, but we get first rights to the painting if we want to buy it. However it's $200.00 and with all the other stuff we have going on right now were going to pass on it. But I'm still a proud foster mommy to have one of my fosters chosen to be a feature dog. :-)

A nun, badly needing to use the restroom, walked into a local Hooters. The place was hopping with music and loud conversation and every once in a while the lights would turn off. Each time the lights would go out, the place would erupt into cheers. However, when the revelers saw the nun, the room went dead silent. She walked up to the bartender, and asked, "May I please use the restroom? The bartender replied, "OK, but I should warn you that there is a statue of a naked man in there wearing only a fig leaf. " Well, in that case I'll just look the other way," said the nun. So, the bartender showed the nun to the back of the restaurant. "But, I still don't understand," said the puzzled nun. "You see, laughed the bartender, "every time someone lifts the fig leaf on that statute, the lights go out." "Now, how about that drink?"

I actually gave my vows to our WC and she handed them to me when it was my turn. Worked out perfectly..

I've seen some amazing cz's I can see why people wouldn't know the difference..

Wow that really sucks. But like you said your going to have a beautiful ring on your first anniversary so it will be just as special.

We wrote our own vows, yes we both teared up but I wouldn't change a thing. It was special sharing it on our wedding day, I even have our vows in a shadow box frame up in the house. DH memorized his and I had a note card, I knew their would be no way I would remember it.

Wow I missed that story about your E-ring as well. Your ring wasn't insured?

Great news.. I'm sure you are happy to finally have some major decisions out of the way.

We had a very small wedding, we had all intentions of either changing into our suits and go for a night swim or go out to the clubs, but after the big meal we had we all just sat around and talked and then turned in early, the single guys ended up going to the club. But it was nice because DH and I had alot of alone time that night. :-)
