I Totally understand about teh $40.00 gift thing. I was like you for many years, always going above and beyond for my friends/family and in turn I feel like no effort was put in when the table was turned. I know make a point to only be around people that appreicate things, I can understand if someone has money problems but most of the time it's just because someone just doesn't care as much as we do. Their loss IMO. Great, TRUE, friends are hard to come by. Again... their loss..

Gosh I wish I had some advise, I know that when I was looking I went to Monster and noticed several placement agencies, so I contacted them directly. Maybe try that.

So I received an email this morning (but was sent last night around 11pm) fro the founder of Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue, she wanted to send me an email telling me the painting sold already and if I had any idea who might have purchased it. I responded to her, telling her that I have a great group of online buddies that were talking about purchasing it for us, but that because it's sold already I just assumed someone got to it before you guys. SO I logged on this morning, looked for this thread because I wanted to tell you all how much the offer alone meant to me and such and that it was sold already. BUT now I know you guys did in fact purchase it, OMG I want to cry. :-( Not only does the painting hold meaning to us, but knowing that you girls got it for us, makes it one of the best gifts I have ever gotten, I feel so blessed to be apart of this forum and I feel that I made some great friendships on here. We without question have THE BEST group of people on this forum..... I LOVE YOU GUYS....

#2 looks great on you. I love dress #1 mainly because the bottom reminded me of my dress,,lol but over all #2 looked amazing on you, so that was my choice.

Well for what it's worth, better late then never. Right? I didn't have "any" family at our wedding so even if it was the day before we left I found out someone was going I would have figured a way to make it work. Try not to stress over it and I'm happy to hear they came around and will be with you on one of the most important days of your lives.

I got my sparklers through Maye, they were $2.50 as well. I looked into bringing them but I don't think you can take them over the boarder.

I have no idea how fast her paintings sell, but I wanted to let you know even if the painting is sold, just knowing that you guys were going to do this means the world to me.. I did a cake tasting with Deena from Sweet Dreams Cabo, it was $50.00 but that was applied to the order. Maybe find out if the $15.00 fee is put towards what you pick out.

I actually heard that buttercream works better as well. I had a buttercream frosting on our cake. I also heard that you have to be really careful with the type of filling you use with fondant because it can throw off the taste. Course with that said the butter cream was a little too much suger for my taste. Ok I just realized I was NO help.. Sorry..

Seriously guys, THanks but you don't have to. There are SO many animals out their that need help, you can just use that money and donate to your local rescue group.
