  1. If mega doesn't have enough you can try Sorianas, CCC, and there is a restaurant supply store in Cabo that would definitely have plenty. I also think there is a dollar store or Waldo's in Cabo or San Jose I do not remember. THEY had vases for a little over a dollar.
  2. Don't forget to bring some heels! The dress always looks and fits diffrents with heels on.
  3. For you San Diego Brides. There is a new Mexican company - Volaris. Volaris They have really cheap flights. I got a flight for round trip $60 dls!! This was a special because of anniversary. But normally the round trip flight is $160-180 dls!
  4. EVERYONE needs to go to Artesanos! It is a huge store in cabo. They sell ton's of trinkets, frames, furniture, etc.. They have the cheapest prices anywhere. They are located in a two story building. AS you leave CABO towards San Jose make sure you take the lateral street not the highway. DRive maybe a minute you will see it on the right. Fun place to shop!
  5. I think there is etching spray. You mask off negative spaces - say you want clear polka dots on your glass- place any kind of round stickers on the glass and then spray. Anything that isn't covered by the stickers will film over. Might be really cute with several sizes of circles. or even squares.
  6. I love your invites!! Great JOb. Another option is to do a seal but out of the red paper that you have on the inside of your invite. You could make it square same width as the ribbon and put the brads on the corners just like your invites. This way you do not see where the ribbon overlaps. You could also do it in a cirle with only one brad in the middle ... but I think that you have a square theme going you should keep it.
  7. Congratulations! Love the arch! What a great idea! It really looks tropical and interesting.
  8. You really might want to move your date back - August, Septeber and beggining of October is Major HURRICANE season!! and it is VERY HOT and muggy. You could try JUne or July those are gorgeous months in Cabo. I was there during one of the hurricanes last year and it was not too bad but I have heard that It Can get really bad.
  9. mmmmmm.... Massage !Great Idea! Try and really enjoy it!
  10. Sorry to hear about all this uneeded stress... It WILL get better! What about having your son stay with a best friend & family?
  11. This is just an excuse to drink more wine.. LOL You could use empty wine bottles in different sizes maybe three - customize the labels and use them as canddle holders- wine colored tapers- they can be centerpieces for your tables maybe with grapes & vines underneath?
  12. Old navy has some really cute swim wear too! http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/category.do?cid=34880
  13. Take many deep breaths and stay in the moment! Felicidades!!
  14. From Cabo to Cancun is definitely much more expensive to travel probably $6-800 dls. It is way on the other side of the continent.. plu sthere probably no direct flight so you have to go through Mexico city (this makes it more expensive)
  15. Have you thought about asking Juan Carlos if he want's to travel? PV is just a hop skip and a jump from Cabo. I just had to fly to Mexico City from Cabo and we had a stop in PV. I think round trip from Cabo the flight would have cost about $250-300 dls and there are some pretty cheap new airlines in Mexico that only fly domestically... Check it out!
  16. click on the color to see what they mean- pretty interesting. http://www.sashasouzaevents.com/arto...ign/index.html This was mine: pretty correct! Red: Red, the single most dynamic and passionate color, symbolizes love, rage and courage. Demanding attention, red has great emotional impact. Those who select red are aggressive, impulsive and strive for success. The desire to experience the fullness of living leads to constant activity.
  17. There is a turtle sanctuary and preserve group that operates in Todos Santos and my WC had given us the option to make a donation as a previous bride had done. She bought these really cute turtles to place on each place setting with a card. We did do the donation but did not buy the little turtles. WE did take our group to release the baby turtles. It was tons of fun.
  18. I posted this in another thread: REcosts: Certerpieces were totally the coordinator!! I thought I wanted something very different but a few days before the wedding we did a dry run and she had set up what I wanted and what she proposed and I absolutely fell in love with them. They were so unusual. I really liked the way the water magnified the roses. She bought everything here- total cost for table decor for 20 tables: $3,500 usd plus flowers $500 dls (10 bulks of 10 dozen lilies and 25 bulks of 25 roses). The cost included the rentals (tables, chairs, glassware, etc..), glass centerpieces with metal stand, gravel, canddles, cloth runners, ribbon and man time for coordinator and helpers. ----- I have to look through my receipts but I think: Glass hurricanes with metal stand were $45 dls/ each, gravel 2 bags for each $10 dls, I think that a dozen roses were used in each threaded with metal wire. Same metal wire was added for decoor. Hope you can get them. It really looked gorgeous and everyone loved them.
  19. Here are the other options given to me including the plummeria
