i had her do the same for me-she has been great. i think we are going to send out the save-the-dates pretty soon- which was sooner than we were originally planning- in hopes that people may book a little earlier (before we start reducing rooms from the room block)- haha- yeah right i am sure they will still all wait until the last minute- how many invites are you guys sending out? i think we are at about 150-175 with a total of about 250 people invited-ahhhh- that seems like so many! i am sure- and we are still so far out everyone says they are coming but its SO hard to estimate who will really come. but we budgeted for 75 also- i am a little afraid it may go over- we both have really big families and then all of our friends are ready to go on a vacation! ahhhh 72- are you kidding!!! thats what i think may happen to us- everyone says they are coming now......but we will see- but we are only budgeting for 75 (and that is max budget) so if more come we are in trouble! yes planning is going good. the wedding still seems so far away that i sometimes feel crazy planning stuff now but am SO glad to get things already set up- like photog, cake person, etc. this board is SO helpful. how was the planning trip? i have never been to Cabo and am going down in Novemver for a planning trip. random question---- what type of invites are you doing? SO easy- what is going to be tricky is the groomsmen. his 3 brothers are his best men- but one brother is 6'7" and 315 lbs. and the other is 13 years old-haha- so imagine trying to coordinate that. there are SO many variations of khaki so we are going to have to try to figure something out because if i just let them buy whatever then it would look really mismatched. how did the ipod thing work out for ya'll at Dreams? We are planning on doing the same thing. Did the speakers from erika work or did you have to use your own speakers? how much is it to rent speaker and microphone? did you use microphone at weddinm ceremony? any problems/tips on using ipod at wedding? haha LOTS of questions- thanks!
