thanks so much for your honest opinions girls. I was such an easy bride and it seems like it was so long ago that its good to get recent brides opinions. so i called my FSIL and she was so gracious. I told her that the wedding the absolute priority and that should be the main focus of the weekend but if she had any spare time (just an hour or so) that I would like to have a really small gathering to celebrate Averys birthday with her family while they are in town. She said she absoultey would not mind and actually appreicates having someone else plan an event for the weekend! i told her to talk to my BIL and to think it through and make sure its not imposing. if they give me the OK I am going to keep in really causal. Im not going to do invites- just word of mouth. and we will have it in the hotel- my MIL has a suite with a large main room so we will just do that. i will make it like a "simply sweet" theme and do just desserts- but keep it super simple so that people can come and go and so that its not such a big "event." thanks again for your input ladies!

they have somehting planned for friday night already................and OF COURSE i would never plan anything without asking them. i know they will say its not a problem and to do it but i just really dont want to impose on her. how bad would a 10am or 2pm party be on the day before? maybe i should just forget it and have her party on her actual birthday and just invite our firends................might make it easier. thanks for your opinions girls!

they are getting married on a sunday so the day after the wedding everyone is leaving town pretty fast.........i know my BIL and FSIL will probably act like they dont care but i really really dont want to impose on their day but then i also selfishly want avery to have her family with her to celebrate her bday---------ugh there is no good answer! thanks for your opinions!

I am pretty sure I know how I feel about this and what I am going to do but I thought I would throw it out there and see what everyone's opinions are. My daughter turns one at the end of March (time flies!) and we are trying to plan her first birthday party. my brother-in-law is getting married here in miami at the beginning of March. So needless to say ALL of our family is flying in for his wedding at the beginning of March so nobody will be able to attend/fly back in for her birthday party if we have it at the end of March. Sooooo would it be complete poor taste to try to fit in a small birthday party for Avery the day before their wedding? I HATE to do that to them because i do not want to take away from their day AT ALL but if we don't have it during the wedding weekend then she will not have any family members at her 1st birthday party...................ugh I know I shouldn't do it during their wedding but i really want her grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc to be with us to celebrate her 1st birthday. ok what do you think? what would you think as a bride? be honest please!

I didn't realize what a trend tutus for flower girls is! Its so adorable and we are working on adding options to our website with the leotard. I can't wait to see all of your pictures!

I am still working on it but we are super excited!! i can make it super fast if you let me know ahead of time. even a month or so in advance would be fine. you can send me the swatch if you know for sure that is exactly the color that you want. also let me know about the color ribbon- i generally make ribbon tie waists so they are adjustable (plus they have a really cute ribbon tie) but i can make an elastic waist if that would be better.

i really dont use too many coupons- and i just take the coupon section out of the paper and just throw it in the file. when the weekly list is posted it tells you where to find any corresponding coupons- so i only cut the ones i know i am going to use

ok i went grocery shopping again today and saved $37 on a $70 bill! So crazy!!!! i love this thing!

i love to bake and it always makes me feel better (and licking the bowl helps too!)

there was tons of produce on the list i had and lots of meat. i didnt buy any meat but bought a bunch of produce

ok so i went grocery shopping the other night and i saved........ .............drumroll............. $40! can you believe that? i only used like 5 coupons (all from the stores weekly ad- nothing clipped from the paper) and then just got a bunch of BOGO free sales. i was shocked! i am obsessed now!
