  1. REBECCA!!!!!!!!!!! YEA! I have been waiting for your review- I am so glad to hear that everything turned out well- i can not wait to see the pictures. i am interested to see how the chair covers look in the pictures- now did you pay extra for specific chair covers or were these the ones included with the set-up fee? also how was the hoenymoon suite? when did you ask Juan to make a slideshow-is that something you have to tell him before? any do you get t o pick your own song? ahh- i am so excited that things turned out well for you. I was really pleased with Dreams-it seems like they do amazing jobs with weddings. congrats - now hurry and post some pics!!!!!
  2. awww i am sure it does. it has been about 65 degrees here in Houston and everyone is acting like its freezing outside- wearing turtlencks and heavy coats-hahaha its so funny! well please feel free to help me with my wedding planning if you start missing the planning
  3. thanks ladies for the support- i will definately need you guys to help keep me in line- especially over the holidays!!!!
  4. ok guys- i was off today and went to the store and labeled EVERYTHING in my pantry for its point value. i have the point calcualtor and the welcome booklet- so i am beginnig tomorrow. i am going to try to do it myself (with the help of you ladies)- so wish me luck. i am going to weigh myself tomorrow- i am not sure this is the best week to start (with thanksgivinng) but i am ready to start losing!!!!!
  5. I know I have a long time until my June wedding- but i was wondering 1) when did you start (or plan on beginning) wedding dress alterations? 2) how many fittings did you have to have? 3) about how much did it cost? 4) any tips ? THANKS GIRLIES!!!!!!!!!!
  6. janet- you are more than welcome! so are you back to the real world now?
  7. i know this is totally rude but i told my guests that there were responisble for the daily fee if they choose to stay somewhere else. this is what it says on our website- we havent done invites yet but the wording will be pretty similar: "We are staying at Dreams Los Cabos- All Inclusive Resort. Please try to stay at this resort if possible to avoid extra "daily pass" fees. If you choose to stay at a different location you will be responsible for the $85 fee. Thank You!" i know- sort of rude- but we CAN NOT afford to cover everyone- once we have a better idea of the number of people who are staying off site and once we are closer and see if we have extra money in the budget- we may offer to cover the cost- but we will have to see how things turn out.
  8. i never really have much to say on theknot.com but i LOVE the bios- especially the original ones- i thought this bio was so cute, not a destination wedding- but still really cute... http://talk.theknot.com/boards/User/...ame=mrs.donkey
  9. hey kash- i will post the exact recipe but basically its a bunch of veggies (sqush, carrots, okra, cabbage-whatever you like) and you simmer in a pot with chicken broth or V8 for a couple of hours- let me find the exact recipe and i will post it. 8 lbs is fabulous! i really want to start losing soon- going to be tugh around the holidays but i am committed to dropping some pounds!
  10. ok ladies- i want in- i have the WW stufff from when my mom used to do it- i made the 0 point broth soup and will start tomorrow. my goal is to lose 15-20 pounds before my wedding in June- wish me luck!
  11. wendy- such beautiful pictures- and you have so many amzing shots to choose from!
  12. OK i have a question for you guys. My parents are divorced and both are remarried and BOTH sets of parents are contributing to the wedding. What should the wedding invitation wording be? can you guys give me your opinions and/or examples of what you used/plan on using? thanks in advance ladies!!!!!
  13. oooohhh she is SO good! thanks for posting this
  14. ahhhh- i didnt know that- do you remember what it was?
  15. thats a really good point- and i saw a set up on the beach (and have a pic if you want it) and it was really nice-hmmmmm- i will let you know what i decide.

  17. kash- i did post to her- its still a little expensive for me. it would be cheaper for us to BUY a video and have someone tape it! i am kidding but my budget is set already and i dont think it can fit a videographer (boo hoo) thanks though!
  18. yeah i posted a review but it was in the midst of all the wedding reviews so it was easily missed. ummm, yes i am really missing the chocolate mousse. we did an entire menu tasting and met with Deena from sweet dreams for cake tasting- so that is all decided (yea!) we decided on the gazebo for the wedding- cocktail hour at the el patio bar and terrace and then reception at cascade terrace. i really liked the privacy of oceana but its such a narrow and smaller set up and since we are expecting 75 or so i thought cascade would work better for us. where is your stuff at again? where are you doing your rehearsal dinner? i am trying to decide between on and off site locations now. its such a pain in the arse to travel off site for our entire family but it would be nice to leave the resort- uh i am still not sure.
  19. actually nothing- i had my site visit and picked menu, cake and verified all rental and location info. i think my next step is the invitations. i always feel like i need to do something for the wedding, like i am forgetting soemthing- but i really have nothing to do! its so weird- i guess its cuz we were such good planners early on!
  20. jenetta-hi!!! where the heck have you been girlie? those prices are still a little steep fpr me- i am still going to look around and see if i can get cheaper- but thank you for the offer. how is everything going? what wedding plans are you doing?
  21. janet! thanks for the review. i want some further info from you- AFTER YOUR HONEYMOON!!!!!!!!!!!!
