  6. i originally thought we would buy "normal" dresses from nordstroms or something but didnt really find anything that worked. so we did end up finding some dresses at a bridal boutique. they are pretty basic blue dresses. i attached a pic- let me know if it works. *****one HUGE tip- write down the brand and style number of the dresses you like and go to netbride.com and they will send you a quoteof cost per dress. i was a little skeptical but it save me about $30 ( i only bought two dresses). and i received the dresses and they were perfect.
  7. rebecca- don't be bummed- although those albulm are beautiful i really think you can find something that will suit your needs and your budget. you dont necessarily need something so fancy- i thought i saw a post from someone who compared the different wedding book companies- did i make that up? anyway- keep looking because i am sure you can find something that is still beautiful without being so expensive :-)
  8. juan- that would be great to see pictures of you and your wife. dont you have a baby too?

Good luck! my dress is actually from Jessica McClintok and i love it- i tried on a bunch of different dresses there and like a lot of them and there are very reasonably priced.
  25. i somewhat agree with what everyone is saying. I know for us we chose a DW in order to SAVE money. we are spending less than $1800 for our wedding photography- and believe it or not that is probably one of the biggest chunks of our budget. There are numerous photographers in Cabo that do amazing work without charging the insane prices that have become very common in the US. i agree pictures are a huge part of your wedding day- but with some many great local cabo photographers with cheaper costs- it makes choosing a photog easy in my opinion. We are only using a professional on the wedding day but i do have a best friend that dabbles in photography a little and she is going to be taking tons of pictures throughout the wedding weekend. so between the two of them we should have the pictures thing taken care of.
