  1. Oh my gosh you guys, look at this beautiful rose arrangement:

Definitely go to the bridal salon prepared with your price range - tell them right in the begining that you only want gowns in that price range, other wise you will find yourself in a pickle! I also highly recommend getting your thoughts together on the type of gown you want before going in - this will help your sales lady pull a more focused selection of gowns to try. Think about: neckline, train length, material, poofy-ness...

  4. Good lord, I had another dream last night. I dreamt that it was the morning of the wedding & my hair/makeup people decided to change the plan & wanted to start on me at like 10am (instead of 2pm)...so my MOH & mom decide that I have to put my dress on BEFORE the hair & makeup (wrong!). I complied. So there I am at 10 am, seven hours before our ceremony, wearing my dress. My makeup went super fast and looked good; but my hair was rediculous. It looked like I had just gotten out of bed & they just clipped a flower above my ear. Then I had to sit around & wait for the wedding. My dress got all stretched out & started falling off of me!! And nobody would bring me a glass of champagne!
  5. Here are some cute dresses I'm looking at too (the first one looks alot like KarlaV's)

  7. I order from them all the time, returns are easy if you need to return/exchange. Just check their sizing charts...I'm sure you are a Small or X-Small...but the chart will help you pick the right size.

By the way ladies, did I mention the margaritas are lethally strong (and delicious)? Just FYI Whoa there Janet...time is flying by fast enough for me right now! Yeah, I'm pretty much resolved to being ok with whatever happens once we get there...I've done enough planning and I know the site is beautiful, so everything will be great! I can't wait to have one of those margi's - yummmay!

I’m freaking out for you!!! ~Amber Thanks girls for freaking out for me, cuz I'm really not freaking at all, believe it or not! I've got everything pretty well handled I think. I still don't know for sure how many people from my FI's family are coming...that's pissing me off! Ummm, but here's all I really have left: -Next week call Pamela Floreria to order bunch flowers (we're doing our own arrangements & bouquets). -Get a marriage license & do civil ceremony locally(secret!) -Fiine tune ceremony & vows. -Check in on FI's playlists for the dinner & dancing music. -find some shoes (I know, late on this, just can't find what I like) -See seamstress for final dress try on & pick up. -Decide on OOT bag (it would help if I knew exactly how many people are coming!) I already have the contents of the oot bags -PACK! Get mom & friends to tote oot bag contents in their extra baggage. Oh, and Amber, yes we are doing our reception on the lawn instead of in the restaurant. We're going to do one big table and hang chinese lanterns. We are only having 20-25 people, so this will be cool I think - actually more of a private party than we would have in the restaurant.
  11. Here are some swim suits I recently purchased for our trip:
  12. I would figure out what you want & then have your local jeweler make it for you - just bring pictures. You will get such better quality diamonds for a fair price this way...the mall stores are a total rip off & their diamonds are never great quality.... PS> I really like the shared prong bands too! That's what I ended up getting.
  13. I made my deposit via paypal. How would you even do cash? Do you mean like a wire transfer?? I would do something that is traceable that will generate a receipt.

  16. I'm a little late here, but I say especially if YOU ARE PAYING, you should get the dress that makes you feel special & fantastic & beautiful and all of the wonderful things a bride should feel like!
  17. Sounds like you saw some great options while you were there Amber...have you made a decision??!!
  18. We just picked up my FI's band last week. He works with his hands a lot at work, so he wanted on of the thinner bands - I would have preferred to see him wear a thicker band, but what he wants is important. Anyway, we got a very simple white gold comfort fit band 3mm thick - it cost just under $200. Our jeweler told us gold is sky rocketing right now, as the other girls mentioned. Since you have so much time , I would wait to purchase the ring until next year.
  19. We ordered my MOH's dress from here Wedding Dresses - Bridesmaid Dresses - Prom Dresses & More at BestBridalPrices.com It's beautiful! I love it...and it was less that $100
  20. Yah Sarah! I was wondering how your trip went. Did you go out to any restaurants or go anywhere of interest while there?
