    Trip advisor can really F with your head! STOP LOOKING AT IT!! Just have faith in your original decision & remember, it's pretty hard not to have a good time when you are on vacation, on the beach in Mexico, add some margie's or Coronas, and what's not to love? It will be fine.

    Yup - I started about a month ago. Started real slow & built it up. I really wasn't going to because I gave that up a long time ago. But my MOH started tanning & I'll be goddamned if she's going to look better than me at MY wedding! LOL Also, being tan has improved my personal body image. I don't know why, but being tan make you look thinner.

    Welcome to the forum Laura! I'm very similar to you in that I never had a "dream wedding" at all...I really didn't even think I would get married. I thought this whole process might be painful, but with the help & enthusiasm of the girls on this board it's actually been kinda fun! (shhh, don't tell). The beauty of a DW is that you don't have to live up to preconcieved notions/expectations...you can really make it your own.

    Well, I don't even know the name of some of them. The worst was an old song from Ace of Base I think "all that she wants is another baby...." Umm, what? Also some random country songs - he doesn't even like country. Who is this man I'm marrying?? I think he's just been copying songs into this folder as he comes across them - I hope he plans on combing through them...I will encourage this.

    Cool Liz! Good to hear that idea has worked. We are planning to use our ipod & speaker for our dinner & dancing (or partying) music. I put my FI in charge of creating the playlists. This morning I was on his laptop uploading photos & came upon his "loose collection" of songs. I really really hate to say this, but I'm going to have to delete at least 5 songs on that list....what was he thinking?? I don't want to hurt his feelings, but wow...wow is all I can say....

    I tried to take a pic with her surrounded by the chair ties - she did not like that at all! Her name is Brittany. She's very focused on eating, sleeping & grooming these days...she only gets a burst of playful energy about once a month. LOL

    I only have one BM & I bought her dress ($100), I am going to give her a very pretty starfish necklace that was approx $45. I am also paying for her hair & make up ($225) up as well as a pedicure the day before the wedding ($50). Wow - that's $420!!! I think I'm good... Andrea - that is a very generous thing for your bridal party! That is wonderful if you can do it.

    Tasha - you are a good wife! Is he going to have a golfing partner? I've heard great things about the Cabo del Sol course from avid golfers. It's designed by Tom Weiskopf & is considered a championship golf course. I think that would be a good bet.

    Yeah, that's whack! I would look into different resort options if possible. I mean, can they offer you a cocktail & horsdeuvres hour at some point between the end of the ceremony & dinner? And what does "private dinner & dancing" mean? Do they offer other options??
