  1. We're considering our wedding date in Cabo our anniversary - because that is the day that was so special & we shared our vows to eachother in front of our family & friends.
  2. Ann - I love the lime green/aqua ink combo! That looks so cool. If I recall, you can order different koozie colors & ink colors with a certain minimum quantity. This is from the FAQ: Hey Bob: Can I get different color Kustom Koozies and is there a charge for that? Another good question, Yes you can, limit 10 per color, and make sure the ink will be ok. For example don't order yellow and black coozies with black ink. Black with black ink will not look that great. You can order a minimum of 50 pieces of blanks per color. There is a single $10.00 extra charge for mixing it up. Put your color choices in the box for extra info at the bottom. In the event a color is not available another similar color will be substituted. This multiple color option is to give you some choices here. A substitution happens only 1 in 10 times and you may want to indicate your first choice in substitutions. We will not contact you in this event of a substitution. It will be a surprise. If this is not agreeable, I would suggest 1 color, where there are no substitutions. We are just trying to keep people happy. **the text I put in read seems to mean that you can't choose 2 inks??

Hey Kelley - sorry I didn't see this before. We actually just smashed them into one of our suitcases & it was fine. We took approx 40 down with us.
  4. Shocked and awed! That's what I am.... I've always known you are an amazing DIY-er, but seeing it all together in one place really is a bit overwhelming...in a good way! I am so excited for you. I can't believe you are getting married in 2 weeks. EEEKKK!!!!
  5. Beautiful Mishi! You are radiant, and beautiful & everything looks great. Can't wait to read/see more. congrats!
  6. We had approx 20 guests & used our iPod & Altec Lansing speaker for our reception. It worked out FANTASTICALLY! Seriously, for a smallish wedding, this is the way to go. Don't pay the resort their stupid fee's for hooking up to their sound system - it's a total waste of money. Now, if you have a LARGE group, then maybe a big sound system is worthwhile. The Bose will be the most expensive option. Altec Lansing has several models that are all very good & vary in size. We have this one:

Well, I vetoed the OOT bags at the last minute, so I just hand delivered the letters as my guests arrived. That was easy cuz I had less than 20. Oh, and BTW, I actually sent an expanded version of the welcome letter, "the pre-trip letter" that included maps, directions & more detailed info. I sent that via email to most of my guests about 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding.
  8. Just have a great time! I mean, cummon, seriously, you guys are going to be in PR. Like is it really going to be all business?? Doubt it. RELAX, ENJOY - that's my request!

  10. Here's a pic of the back of my MOH's hair - by Deanna @ Suzanne Morel's salon...
  11. I did not do a formal trash the dress session, however with everybody stepping on my train it got pretty trashed! I think it would have been really fun to do in a less expensive dress. I say go for it!
  12. It's pretty cool Lisa! I'm still having to remind myself he's my husband & not my fiance...

  14. I am honored to be considered! I benefited from all of the married ladies before me, so I really feel like it's my duty to share all of the good, bad & the ugly with y'all. Plus, I am eagerly awaiting so many of your upcoming weddings...TammyM & Sarah especially since we've been around about the same amount of time - I feel so invested in your weddings! Sorry I took my chair tie siggy down, I just couldn't cope with it any longer! OK, I nominate MexicoMelissa! She had a wedding after my own heart. I really enjoy her spunkiness & realness. Melissa, you rock the kazbah!
  15. Girls, this seems to be a universal problem. I was so fricking pissed at my husband's family because they did the exact same thing you are describing. Just do what you need to do to feel comfortable & let go. You can't force people to RSVP (this is what I learned anyway).
  16. Damn! I was hoping to see a pic of #2! But I'm super glad you realized how much you love #1 and SO glad #2 was returnable! And great job on your ever-shrinking body...woot~!
  17. I'm pretty sure it's a no go on the bouquet on the plane. US Customs is where you will have the prob. They are very touchy about plant & animal stuff coming in from foreign countries. I just kept my bouquet in a large glass (I called it a vase) while we were still in Cabo until it completely wilted to death. It was sad (PS...it just occured to me that y'all might not take me very seriously with today's siggy pic!)
