    Jenesis - I had an experience where I had booked 10 pedis & only 8 ladies showed up, so they were more than happy to allow for 2 mani's instead of the pedis. I think as long as you get services instead of your mom's make up, it should be fine. Now, I avoided all that drama (my mom would have DIED if she knew how much her makeup was) by paying for it all.

    We toured Villa Del Arco & the property is beautiful & new. It's also more quiet & adult than the Palmar property. It's on Medano beach, but far enough away from the madness to seem somewhat private. It's a good 10 - 20 minute walk down the beach to the nearest restaurant, or you can walk on the street & probably get there quicker. Bottom line - I think this would be a great honeymoon venue - it's really well appointed & luxurious feeling. And you don't have to do AI, just stay there.

    It still all depends on our potential relocation situation - can't make plans to go somewhere until I know where we will be! GRRRR. But, once I know where to fly FROM, I'm totally making plans. For sure!

    Courtney - that beach is on the Pacific side, on the way to Todos Santos. It was so absolutely breath taking! The beach went on for miles & miles and it seemed like we had the whole thing to ourselves. It was so pristine. Just love it. I could live on that beach

    I would say just let her bring him. I had a few great friends I invited to our wedding that brought dates - and it was just fine with me. The way I see it, yes the people you invite are important to your wedding for you...but remember they are on vacation too & get to have fun. Usually, that involves having their significant other or other date with them.

    Oh, that's a tough one. I know Tasha had a poloroid guest book & she had her little flower girls (I think) manning the book - they just took pics & told people what to do. It was cute!
