Ladies - don't forget that I got to actually meet them in person! They are a hot couple. Drea is a very spicy latina (so are all of her aunts!) and Erik is just a big fricking ham. Don't worry, they don't bite - I swear!

Sarah - I've been so curious to see how your day turned out! Thank you for finally sharing First of all, can I just say, that you look FANTASTIC! I mean, definitely in a bridal sense of course...but also, I know how hard you busted your ass & I can see how much weight you lost. Really, really good job girl. You must feel amazing. And - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dramatic table! That fuschia on black is kickin'! I'd love to see pics when it gets darker & the candles are lit. Way to go outside the box, cuz it looks really unique & great!

Hi Lizzy - needless to say, you are in my thoughts & prayers for sure. I support you in being your own advocate - you simply have to do it, whether in a VA hospital or any other hospital. And, enlist the help of your friends and family to do the same for you. ALWAYS ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS & INSIST ON AN ANSWER! You are truley the only one in the room with the biggest investment in your own health and well being. We love you!!!

Jessica - I'm sure it varies. I had grand ideas about using vouchers for our welcome dinner with 16 people & was told "no." However, maybe a party of 10 isn't to much? The main problem you will run into is the vendor having enough vouchers available. Ie - I wanted $200 for La Panga, and had to wait 2 weeks for them to become available. I would definitely check it out though.

Oh Kash - you look unbelievable honey! Really stunning, gorgeous, glowing. and, definitely - you two little love birds just can't keep your eyes & hands off eachother. That is sooooo sweet. Congrats girlie!~

I bought $200 worth of vouchers for La Panga Antigua in San Jose Del Cabo. So, under the voucher system, I paid $130. They didn't have the amount I needed until the day before we left for Cabo, but Jeri (my contact at Los Cabos Magazine) got right on top of it and overnighted them to me at my office. She only charged $5 addional to do that. It worked out really well, we had a LAVISH dinner at La Panga...I was sure we over spent $200, but we came in at $195. I did mention to our server, prior to ordering that we had the vouchers, and he knew what we were talking about & it was no big deal. If you can plan ahead & think about what you might like to do while in Cabo, this is a great service to use. I mean, saved 35% on a fantastic dinner at a wonderful restaurant - what's not to like about that??

Congrats on booking your venue!! We got married at Cabo Surf in March and absolutely loved it. As far as the food situation goes - I wouldn't worry about it. If people don't want to eat at the hotel, they can always drive a few km's and find all kinds of options in San Jose. And to echo what Janet said - definitely encourage your guests to rent cars! I wanted to kill my mother & her friend who insisted they didn't need a car & would use the public transportation...but ended up calling us all the time to give them rides to & from the hotel (they stayed in a condo). No bride should be lugging people around on her wedding day! As far as an off site RD, definitely do it! We had ours in downtown Cabo on the beach. I arranged trasportation for everyone - round trip from CS & surrounding hotel/condos cost $13 per person. You could probably get a lower rate since you'll have many more people than we did. I am very glad we did that though, because everybody got smashed at the RD.

OMG, we had so much fun with Andrea, Erik and their family & friends. They made us feel like family instantly and it was amazing to be part of their special day! Here are a few pics from the night before the wedding when we all went to Brasil Steakhouse...
