Oh man, gotta love the GPS! My hubby has a Garmin - don't know the model #, but it's also a PDA. I steal it from him all the time. I am asking for a GPS for Christmas. The Garmin we have now just does the "left turn in 300 feet" thing, which is usually fine, but I think the street name callout would be awesome. Our real estate agent had one that was a pretty big screen, maybe 4x4", and it would display the giant arrows & street names so you could use it with the sound off. OVerall, I vote YES on the GPS, especially if you are getting lost. It really is a great security blanket.

Wow, that is terrible. I bet the people attending that wedding will never return to Mexico after that experience. That sounds like an inside job - no sign of break in, ability to open the safes easily. Yuck. I have never, ever understood why people trust those little safes in their rooms. I have never used them, I just look at them & think it's a trap! My husband used ours in Cabo for his camera & passport, but I just kept anything I was worried about with me at all times.

Thanks girls! For some reason the blonde I am seeing in the mirror is not the same as is showing up in those pics. It really is a lot lighter than the pics show. Anyway, it's cool. That's awesome Heidi!! I have an existing tattoo I would like to have "modified" - that's so neat! So, are you going back for the rest of the om? Don't feel too bad - I think that low back/hip area is a tough one. My room mate in college & I got our tattoos at the same time --me on my ankle, she on her low back. She almost passed out & actually barfed while getting her tattoo!!

Hey girlie! I saw a girl named Katie at Salon Bellezza in Bellevue. She was really cool...and yeah, my hair had grown quite a bit & I wasn't sure whether to let it keep going or re-chop it. I think I like it short

This is my first hair experience away from my stylist of 5 years. I found this salon the other day on citysearch.com. Overall I'm pretty stoked, although it's a bit blonder than I was planning on...which just means I have to go back sooner, and change my entire makeup pallette! Also, a wee bit more expensive than I'm used to $180 vs $130 for a foil highlight & cut. Although I did have quite a nice shampoo experience that almost made me melt out of my chair
