  1. OK, I totally tried to do this & never finished. But I mostly totally agree with all of them. And I'm so flattered .... LOL!

Even with joint custody you will need an affitdavit from the father granting permission to travel outside the US. We went through this with my hubby's 2 sons...it was a total PITA & nobody ever asked to see the paperwork, but I know if we didn't have it they would have asked. We brought the kids with us & they stayed with us for 2 or 3 days after the wedding. One traveled home with his aunt/uncle and the other traveled with my mom. My mom "watched over" the child that lives with us until we returned home. It worked out well.
  3. That really sucks. The fact that you paid their deposits requires they pick an option: 1. Go to the wedding 2. Pay you back what they owe you. I would not be shy about making that crystal clear.
  4. Sarah - I am super thrilled for you girl! Maybe I'll have you do a book for me (wedding almost a year ago!!). Congrats on doing something you love!
  5. Dude, Kate, you are the most awesome! Thanks for the Fiesta Donkeys
  6. Wow, this sucker's going up fast! Check it out: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...e/100_3396.jpghttp://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...e/100_3395.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...e/100_3397.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...e/100_3421.jpg
  7. I did the Macarena with a baseball bat cuz I'm a ninja!
  8. How exciting Paula! I know you are going to have an amazing memorable time for sure. Have a blast!!
  9. Hmmm, very interesting. My mom used to get local honey & honey comb for me to eat when I was younger because it helped with my horrible allergies. I didn't know about the pollen stuff!
  10. The straightening balm actually smells a little male/musky to me. At first it turned me off, but after seeing the results I was like "whateva!" Also, I don't notice the smell once my hair is dry.I have a weird kink on the back of my head, and this stuff straightens it right out!
  11. I just received a sample of the Procolor Hair Straightening balm. Holy crap that stuff works! Like super easy blowdry with this, I don't have to do any major brush maneuvers. Awesome!
  12. I'm going to Bikram's Yoga College of India in Renton. It's very close to where I work. Are you a yogini Kate?
  13. Well Tara, if it makes you feel any better, it took me almost 5 months before I found this place! I think my body & mind really needed it, so I found the place finally! My mom thinks doing hot yoga is crazy. I'm giving it a chance. Esp in this cold weather, warming up those muscles is a lot easier in a hot room!

No, I didn't get sick. Just really hungry & tired. I think it must be flushing all kinds of toxins...the sweat factor is amazing!
  15. OK, second class done. Today I felt stronger, it was more about accomplishing each pose today instead of surviving the heat. Immediately after class I feel an amazing euphoria and calmness; also it feels like my lung capacity has doubled! Heidi - if you are out there - is it normal to feel dog tired after Bikram classes? About 4 hours after class I could not wait to lay down! I took an hour nap & am still down. I don't feel bad, just really tired.
  16. Oh yeah, I do get a little burpy with it sometimes. I just see it as a minor consequence of being healthy
  17. Most excellent!! That is awesome to get such a quick response from the old bod. Keep it up!
  18. THe fish oil I use is infused with orange oil, so its actually not that bad. I just take a swig out of the bottle (about 1 Tablespoon) and chase it with a glass of water. It does have a bit of an odor, because if I try to use the same glass of water later, I can totally smell it on the rim.
  19. Hey Martha, I actually take liquid fish oil twice a day. The omega 3's are supposed to be very good for you. I take other supplements under the direction of a homeopathic doctor, and she say that the fish oil really assists in mobilizing all of the nutrients around your body (does that make sense?)
  20. I'm reviving this thread because I went to my very first Bikram Hot Yoga class yesterday! I've done Vinyasa yoga & loved it. I haven't been to any yoga class in almost 6 months. Can I just say - WHOA! That class was extremely challenging. I think the largest challenge was just staying in a 110 degree room for 90 minutes. Also, once you start sweating, its hard to maintain any of the poses that require skin to skin contact - like eagle pose & tree pose - I kept slipping. Is there some secret here?? There we a few times I got very light headed/dizzy & had to recoup in shavasana. And absorbing all of the verbal info constantly coming at me was different. Apparently that is to be expected for newbies. Overall, it was very challenging, cleansing, balancing. I'm going back for my 2nd class in about an hour! I figure doing something that is hard, but good for me, is better than some of the things I'm dealing with that are hard & not good for me.
  21. How fun that you just realized there are notes! It's like an extra gift. Glad you guys are enjoying the books
  22. How fun! We did not do e-pics, so I'm super jealous & excited for you all at the same time

  24. Umm, jamies, couch, BDW, popcorn & whatever random show DH is watching.
  25. I purchased a Nubra for some of my dresses I took on our honeymoon...not a big fan. I need more under support. The Nubra just kind of pulled my boobs together but they stayed too low for my taste. I felt uncomfortable. Also, with a thin fabric you could totally see the outline of the thing. Not pretty in my opinion. I'm a large C/small D, so maybe I'm just over the max load.
