You've gotten tons of feedback already, but I'll just chime in & add to it: BUSTLE THAT ISH GIRL!!!

Oh, I am so jealous you guys! So wonderful that you can do something so romantic & fun for your 1st anniversary. I stayed at the Riu in Negril a few years ago & really loved it. Definitely go off site. If you've never been to Jamaica, I would do the Dunn's River Falls trip...it's pretty touristy but very beautiful. Also, make sure you bring back lots of Blue Mountain Coffee & Rum Cream for yourselves & friends!!

Ahhh! What a brilliant idea!! The few pedi's I got this winter were great...until I left the salon...my tootsies were FROZEN!! I could see retro fitting an old pair of UGGS to accomplish this same thing though...hmmmm....

OK, so in the short term it sounds like we are planning for Thursday 3/20. So, I work in Renton. Abbie works in Seatac. Kate works somewhere complicated that involves taking a ferry. Where do we want to meet? I think it would be better for Kate if we could go to down town Seattle.

This week is out for me & next week is filling up. What if we try something during the week of 3/17? Thursdays would be good for me too.

OK, I know we have several Seattle girls here - Kate (LALA), Abbie (Dougsgirl), myself, who else?? I think we need to put something together here ladies. Who's in?

Haha, yes Annie is a chihuahua, or a fake dog as I like to call her! I think Kate's dogs would intimidate the living bejeezus out of our little ones!

Our estimated closing date is 4/9/08 as of today...I'm being conservative & saying we will be moving in by the end of April.

We visited the house today. Siding is up, gutters & down spouts installed, the garage door is in. Inside they've hung the sheet rock, so it's becoming easier to visualize what the house will actually be like. It's funny thought because we're walking around & I'm like "remind me why we decided to do that??" I know we took our time on the floor plan & amenities, but I can hardly remember any of that now. I sure hope we knew what we were doing!! I haven't visited the blog area in a while. When I saw your first paragraph I thought "holy sh" - I think having Adam in your home is the last thing you need! I'm very sorry you are facing all of these difficulties/roadblocks with TTC. It breaks my heart every time I see a new post with not so good news about your quest. Whatever you decide to do is the right thing & we all support you no matter what!

Tami - I may be late on this, but I've made tons on home made soap. I feel like you should start simple - basic soap first. When you start to get tricky & add things w/texture like oatmeal, lavender, ground apricot seeds, you will want to have a feel for how the soap works/responds. I like to use white glycerine in combo with the clear to give the soap a creamier appearance. Good luck!
