  1. I am happy becuase it's the first day of spring & we actually had a morning full of sunshine!

Also happy that all of the sudden all of my clothes are like 2 sizes too big! Although, not happy because I can't justify spending any $$ right now, so I look like a bit of a bag lady :)

  2. That poster idea reminded me of the flyer our activities committe made for a "Green Rabbit Lunch" potluck we are having on Friday. This guy was given no warning...the marketing department photo shopped green bunny ears onto the VP of Operations face. It is hilarious (I posted the photo earlier but have removed it now to protect the innocent).

  3. So, if I were to address this issue, I wouldn't see it as a "why are the women I date so crazy?" issue, but rather a "what is it about me/my past that attracts dysfunctional relationships." We tend to recreate past dysfuntion in current relationships, whether we are conscious of it or not.

I used to wonder why every guy I dated turned out to be a lying cheating asshole...thought I had bad luck. Then I realized that I was attracting lying cheating assholes - so then I had to take a look at myself. What was the underlying cause for bringing sub-par people into my life? What kind of people do I really want to attract into my life? What do I need to do differently to make that happen? Honestly, there was a lot of deep shit there, but the easiest thing I did was this: when you feel a strong attraction to someone, turn around & walk away! You are attracted to crazy girls, like it or not. You need to start dating girls that you don't feel an instant crazy attraction to...try it. :)

I've done this...guess what happens - they take my advice & invite me to the next meeting. Bad move!
  5. So funny, right now something is unfolding that I can't believe people don't stop to think about. Here I sit a my desk & 3 people are having a full on meeting right in front of my desk that has nothing to do with me. I cannot concentrate due to this, so I thought I would come back to this thread & report.

Don't mind me - they pay me to sit here & listen to arguements & meetings between a high level sales exec & a fricking purchasing assistant.

  6. He's out having a smoke as we speak. Doesn't even pop a piece of gum or a mint or anything. He also has one of those awesome nicotine stain spots on his smoking hand middle finger - that's hot!

I was telling someone yesterday that my work area is like a combination of The Office & Seinfeld...

  7. DO NOT FEEL BAD if you decide to change realtors!! I suffered from similar feelings about mortgage brokers. You are money to them, so you need to make sure you are happy & comfy with the professional you chose to represent you. I know girl, this is a stressful thing - buying a house - and it's not time to set aside your best interest.

  8. OMG - I am so feeling you girl. For me, what KILLS me, is I don't even really have to directly work with these people, we just happen to have cubes in the same space. So, there is really no reason for me to HAVE to tolerate any of their assinine shit. I think that makes it worse for me - zero vested interest in even caring.

The guy that sits behind me is a heavy smoker, so I feel like I'm sitting in an ashtray all day. He REEKS enormously. And he has a serious phlegmy smokers hack...I feel like he's coughing all over me. I literally duck when he coughs. Oh yeah, he's about 99% deaf too - so I have to deal with that all day long. Stinky, deaf, oblivious fool.

  9. Oh wow, that kinda blows. Although, technically, interoffice sales can be less stressful because the information flows more freely. Why don't you request a comparable sales analysis from your realtor - this is factual data that can help you. She shouldn't have a problem generating that for you. OR, you can go to Real Estate Valuations, Homes for Sale, Free Real Estate Information | Zillow Real Estate to get a feel for recent sales prices of homes in the same neighborhood.

YES!! I have this same experience. I could go on a full on rant right now & hijack Jaqueline's thread. One of my Terrible Three is like this. She has this deep annoying sigh that I hear at least once every 2-3 minutes - that "ugh, I can't believe people keep making me do my job" sigh - so put out. Jeez, why don't you just friggin quit??
  11. Jaqueline - I am so glad to hear someone else say this!! I had a near psychotic break yesterday because I am SO F'ING SICK of 3 people that sit around me. They are so predictable...I can already see the stupid coming before it starts. Their personal habits & traits get under my skin to no end. I've decided they are so ultra-lame & annoying because they really have no lives of their own outside of work. They should be shot.

She is very sweet. I think she really believes that Matt really likes her, even though he says he doesn't...she's hanging on to something that doesn't exist. Poor thing. She is a total fighter though. He is such a slimy icky boy.
