I might be dense here...but it seems like every time this conversation is had, it goes the same way. "It's not our fault prices are so high, we can't help it if our profits are so large...." Doesn't it seem obvious? Cut your profit margin & pass the savings on to the consumer?? I know there is a supply/demand side to this...we as a nation have chosen not to compromise our protected regions by drilling for oil. I suppose we, by default ,accept the consequence of paying higher prices because we must source outside of our own country. Any one have any thoughts??

Wow, Matt sounds like my 17 yo step son!! Haha!! My hubby is pretty good though. I do feel your pain - it's very frustrating. With the kid, I just throw all his wrinkled laundry in his room & shut the door. Guess you can't do that w/DH.

Well, she knows that I laugh at her alot...but only in the most loving & affectionate way

She totally needs her own show. She cracks me up to no end. She's a very smart girl...but culturally so different than we are used to. She's a 30 something woman who gets away with acting like a teenager. Plus her broken english makes everything that much more enjoyable.

We had a company drink a thon a few weeks back & she kept saying "I want drunk" - LOL!! She is crazy & awesome all at once.

I was pretty happy with the finale. I LOVED the whole Georgina's parents thing! She sold her show pony to buy cocaine? That's a lot of fricking cocaine ladies!!

 

And Chuck - wow. His dad really freaked him out quickly with that "you'll be a changed man" speech. I hope B hooks up with the cutie on the plane

Haha! Yes to the margarita machine - how awesome would that be?! You can't tell me there is any major difference between someone having a margi or two & someone that drinks the super-leaded coffee we have here ALL DAY LONG.

 

Yeah, I can't wait to see what Marsha brings for toppings. She actually just sent an email saying "what are toppings"!

So we have a fun group of people at work. Every other week or so we do a community lunch. This week it's going to be Nacho Friday. Yummay!

 

Anyway, the funny thing is we have a new gal in our group. She's from China & she is totally hilarious, I love her. The last group lunch was chili dogs (holy heart burn). Her assigned item to bring was simple - CHEESE. Well, we start putting out all of our fixings, and she pulls 3 Lunchables out of the refrigerator.

 

"Ummm, Marsha, where is the cheese you were supposed to bring? "

 

"It's in here" as she points to the lunchables.

 

She didn't know where to buy cheese & they didn't have any at home, so she stopped at 7-11 and bought the Lunchables cuz they have cheese in them LOL!! Isn't that awesome? She cracks me up completely.

 

This week she's supposed to bring "toppings" for the nachos - I'm scared.

Ok, seriously? That guy gave me a head ache for certain...I had to fast fwd. Am I correct - after all of that, it was $75? I love the look of uncomfortableness on some of the guests faces (and their body language). I think I'm permanently damaged.

How the hell can they fast forward five years & pick up at that point?! You should have hear/seen me at the end last night, I was pissed! Those kids of Gabby's totally cracked me up though..

I think after a week or two, you will feel better about it...you'll get used to it & it will grow out a bit. Right? Your prenatal vit's are making your hair grow fast...so count on that one! I think too if you start playing around w/styling you'll find something you can tolerate. I totally know where you are at

We've stayed at Villa del Palmar twice in the last year. It's actually a really great place! It is a bit older compared to the shiney new sister properties next to it, but really, the location is perfect - at the end of Medano beach. If you like the beach, you can camp out on a beach chair and get bar service. Walking distance to the Office, Mango Deck etc. I really like staying there because it's close to down town Cabo, but lacks all the hectic-ness of the properties right in the thick of Medano beach. I think your sister will be very happy.

You might try using a text box...I know you can change text direction that way.

Do it Abby! Do it! You may change your mind, but having the option available will be nice. I totally remember my inner thighs were so sweaty, it was pretty gross. Luckily my boobs were secure (thanks to my seamstress), but I honestly did feel a bit restricted - especially when it came to sitting & eating (like a fricking straight jacket!). Ummm, my butt is my problem. Looks great covered up...but when the panties drop, it's kinda like "ewwww." I fell down a flight of stairs several years ago, and amongst all the other resulting injuries was a hematoma the size of a tennis ball on my right butt cheek - upper middle area. It's hideous & it looks like I have weird deformed cellulite. And sometimes the bump hurts still, after all these years
