She does respond to emails, but give her a few days: http://www.freewebs.com/dessertdiva/ good luck!
  4. I think we're doing cupcakes, as well as petit fours, and mini cheesecakes. Jennifer Hatton quoted me $3 each for the cupcakes, and $4 each for the cheesecakes.
  5. My fi is not into strip clubs, but I'm sure he'll go to a few, and it doesn't bother me at all.
  6. there is a girl on my local knot board who is getting married there. You can look her up - courtsgirl is her name. The only thing that she has mentioned about pricing was that the hors'derves were very expensive. Like $6-$10 each for sushi. She is very nice and I am sure she will respond to any email questions you may have.

    Cabo Bride!

Welcome & Congrats! Where in Napa did you get engaged? I love it up there. We officially became re-engaged up there last March
  8. thank you. that is about what we thought it would cost us.
  9. I stayed at the Fairmont in July. It was great. Our room overlooked the ceremony location and I shot a couple of photos in passing: looking down at ceremony site view of ceremony site from our balcony view looking back at hotel fi in the adult pool the hotel is pretty pricey, but the service was fantastic. We were in a 'garden view' room, but it was an end unit, so our balcony wrapped around and we had an ocean view as well. eta: we stayed in the resort, not the villas. The villas are located closer to the beach and look pretty fabulous, but the rooms in the hotel were very large, and nice.
  10. Joellen, if you check jessica claire's blog http://www.jcsphoto.com/blog/index.html she has some photos. look under Jessica & Marc eta -- looks they did their RD at Baja beach club
  11. we are having our good friend who is a very talented classical guitarist play. I am actually really excited about it. He plays a lot of weddings, and he approached us about wanting to play.
  12. thank you. That's about what we thought it would cost us. We're just *considering* doing it if our budget permits.
  13. okay, crazy idea, but if the budget permits, we're considering doing a short (2-4 minute) fireworks show. When I received info from one of the three 5* hotels, one of them quoted this, but I don't know how accurate their pricing was. Has anyone else looked into this? thanks in advance
  14. no, but I may check back. I am not sure. I am almost at 6 months out and need to start nailing this stuff down, so I may just book Tabasco's
  15. Jessica Claire is doing a seminar for photographers in Cabo in February, and here is what her website says: Q: Are there regulations about what camera equipment I can bring in to the country? A: Yes. You may only bring one camera and one video camera into the country per person. If you are traveling as a family and are each bringing a camera, we recommend going through the search line separately because they will occasionally tell you that only one camera per family is allowed. Q: Is there any other aiport protocol I need to know about? A: Yes. Cabo San Lucas has “red light/green lightâ€. Once you collect your bags from the baggage claim, you will need to go through xray and then you will be asked to push a button. If when you push the button you get a red light, they will search all of your bags for contraband items, including multiple cameras. You will have no problem as long as you are only carrying the allotted amount. I haven't spoken with my photographer about this issue specifically (I figure that he knows what he has to do) but I presume that he will just claim that he is a guest of the wedding
  16. There was some dicussion on the old site about the use of vouchers for this restaurant for RD/WD. I contacted the company that sells the vouchers. As of now, they are sold out of vouchers for Baja Cantina. They may become available again, but this was as of last week.
