I would actually be happy to sell them to someone if anyone is interested.

We had our friend play the pre-ceremony/ceremony music we had a mariachi for the cocktail hour we did ipod music for dinner but we actually ran out of music (even though we had a 1.5 hour playlist, dinner ran a little long we had the Twins play during dinner and for the reception dancing. they were awesome people were up dancing before their salad was served and they kept the dancefloor going all night. I think every single person there was dancing. The party really only ended because the band stopped playing!

We just stayed at the Marquis and it was really wonderful. Luxury accomodations, and they were extremely attentive.

Our Cabo honeymoon...

We tried to change our flight, it was just really poor planning. We want to do a big HM trip to Thailand, but we have to look at when our schedules will mesh for that. We want to plan it around one of my trips overseas for work. Enough about that. I totally relate. I've been exhausted and I know that work tomorrow is going to be SUPER depressing. -
Our Cabo honeymoon...
NABUMBAH replied to A10CalGal's topic in Share your Wedding & Engagement Stories!
I can only say that I am SOOO envious of you. Chris and I only stayed an extra 4 days after the wedding and it was waay too little time. Sounds like it was wonderful. I totally agree, it was really weird going from such a tiny resort to a HUGE resort. -

If you were planning my wedding..
NABUMBAH replied to TammyB's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
Tammy, I am in a totally different boat than you because we had a huge guest list and for us our wedding was as much about our families and friends as it was about us. The day after the wedding we hung by the pool with our guests at the Cabo Surf but then we transferred to the Marquis and it was wonderful. We arrived to choc dipped strawberries, champagne, and a drawn bath full of rose petals. We did choose to see our fam/friends a few times over the next few days, but it was totally our choice to do so. I say if you want to have your guests there, just be sure to switch hotels and tell the hotel to hold all calls once you get there. Otherwise, do something really romantic with the two (or four) of you. We went to the Esperanza resort for dinner one night and there was a group of about 12 that were there celebrating the wedding. I do not recommend the restaurant (review later) but think that would be a great, fun intimate way to celebrate your day - perhaps at the Palmilla or one of the other fine dining restaurants. A lot of the resorts set up beachfront dining. I saw the setup at the Marquis the first night that we were there and it was terribly romantic. A table surrounded by tiki torches, and a fire pit and a musical duo playing. -
Show me your favors!!

we did pretty elaborate OOT bags. And, of course hangovers -
thanks all. I just got home. I started working on a vendor review/trip recap on the plane. I hope to complete it this weekend and I will definitely share it with ya'll. I have a bunch more bootlegs from friends and family but it will take me some time to sort through them. I am also waiting on our photographer's other stuff but I am not sure how long that will take. patience, I guess. Thank you for posting those pics Carla

Registries and DW Etiquette
NABUMBAH replied to ~Melissa~'s topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I feel the same as you do, but we registered because we figured that people would want to buy us gifts even if we told them not to ... So our wedding is next weekend :eek!: and we have two registries and they both have less than 40% of the items left (today is my second shower) and people were complaining last weekend at my first shower that there were not enough items left! So I would say it is definitely a good idea to register. I realize that it's a big expense for our guests, but I have also realized that our guests are all really excited. Sometimes I think that they are more excited than we are! so while I have made it a point to let everyone know that gifts are not necessary it's nice to know that we won't end up with 25 crystal vases. Chris and I have lived together for 1.5 years and have been on our own for 10+ so we have everything that we could need, but it's awesome to get upgrades on our pots, pans, linens, etc. oh and we did NOT put our registry info on our website. I just never got around to it, but people figured it out. -
What relaxation methods do you use when the going gets tough?
NABUMBAH replied to ~Melissa~'s topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I work out or I drink a lot of wine -
Hi Amanda, good to see you over here.

We have a choice of either having our photographer shoot our welcome dinner on the beach at Tabasco's (will include slideshow) or the RD on the boat. The welcome dinner is 6-9 pm and is a little more casual but we have the whole restaurant to ourselves. The RD is from 5:00-7:30 (we will catch the sunset and possibly see some whales) but I am unsure about how close the quarters will be. The boat can accomodate around 150, and I think we have 125ish coming. which would you choose and why? eta our photographer said that the light will be good for both, and did not have an opinion as to which he would prefer to shoot.
