    they look great! as far as color, I am not sure. we did multi-colored with just about every color except for the light ones, and we used white ink. I was to the point that I did not care when I ordered them. Just go for whatever you like. I do think that the turquoise ink does not show well against the green & blue. Maybe you can opt for white?

    I had great big plans for this. But in the end, time and money ran out and we didn't get each other anything. It was fine with me my ideas for gifts were custom fit golf clubs & a new plasma. He will be getting a new plasma as soon as we move into our new house

    the date that we got married in Mexico. the day that we went to the courthouse felt like any other procedure. we didn't dress up (I wore black juicy sweats) and didn't do anything else to celebrate or document it... unless you count going to buy a digital camera right afterward for our trip. real romantic, I know

    I am not sure how much this will help you. We did regular open bar, but did bring down all of the wine for our wedding. we bought 3 cases for the wedding for 130ish guests and they were just about gone by the end of the night. Can I ask why you don't want to just do open bar? it seems like such a hassle to buy booze for everyone. We only brought wine because its super pricey for good California wines in Cabo, and we got a great deal from a winery that we had a membership to.

    I bought my gown on ebay. It was a Monique Lhuillier, and i got it at a complete steal of a price. very pleased

    Our parents walked down to an instrumental version of "Here, there and Everywhere" by The Beatles. Our bridal party walked to an instrumental version of "There is Love" by Peter, Paul & Mary, and I walked down to Canon in D by Pachelbel. All were played by our friend on acoustic guitar.

    thanks guys! It was totally not what I had envisioned, but I forgot to bring pics. HIVE did a really good job with all of the hair & makeup. there are LOADS of Hair ideas in the link above.

    I totally married a groomzilla! He was on my ass about everything planning related and took over on so many projects. Anything artistic/crafty was left to me but just about everything else he was a part of or handled. Hillarious! just last week he tried to get on my case about not getting to our TY cards yet. I almost backhanded him. good luck!

    holy crap. is that enormous? I am trying to resize it but my net connection is super slow in this hotel. Thanks Sarah. I wore my veil on top of my head toward the back (attached with a comb)... let me see if I can find a pic and I will post it.

    I don't think that we have one of these yet. I just uploaded my pics from Cabo and came across one of my hair so I figured I would start I asked for something "up and beachy" here is my wedding day hair. I will post makeup pics when I eventually get my disc of photos from my photog.

    you sound very well prepared. I was up doing our escort cards until after 2am the night before our flight. and was still doing them on the wedding day. good times.
