We just registered. It was pulling teeth to get my FI to go! We did Macys because they had the dishes we wanted, William Sonoma, because James is a chef, and Crate and Barrel for everything in between. We have also already lived together for 2 years and found it hard to come up with a lot of things. So we did the honeymoon registry too at Honeymoonwishes.com. Jame sister just got married and they did the honeymoon registry and got the whole thing paid for! I hope that happens to us! And to put my two cents in about Target-they don't ship. So with a destination wedding, that makes it harder for your guests I think.

Jen, Do you have Ixchel's contact info you can give me? I know its probably on here somewhere but it would take me forever to find it! I'm going to need transportation for the exact same amount of people for my welcome dinner. Thanks!

MY FI and I ate at Baja Cantina when we were on our site visit in August. We were happy with our meals although their regular menu was quite different than their catering menu. You will be very happy with the location. Its the nicest looking restuarant on the Medano beach and the furniture and unbrellas are not dingy and old looking like some of the other restaurants. We are going to have our RD there also.

I am paranoid about this with my MIL! My FI sister just got married and at the rehearsal dinner she was showing VERY inapprpriate cleavage and only looking a little better at the wedding. I will be so embarrassed if she does this at my wedding. I haven't figured out a good way to handle this situation though. Any suggestions?

You are getting married right before me! How far along are you in your planning? We did our site visit in Aug and I feel better about everything after that. Meeting with Maye, trying food and cake, picking a photographer. One of the big pieces we don't have is the music. We want to bring a 3 member band we know from San Diego but FI won't get his act together and confirm what all we would pay/take care of for them to come. Its getting agravating because if it doesn't work out I want to book a DJ and musicians for the ceremony soon!

I like the red and orange logo but I'm biased because I'm using red and orange! I love orange so I'm struggling with the bridesmaids dresses. There are some great "burnt orange" colored dresses but thats pretty contemporary and I don't want any of the bridesmaids to hate me because I put them in orange. So the safe color would be red. I can't decide.

Maye told me they could accomodate 80 no problem. I was there for my site visit in August to check things out and 100 wouldn't be a problem either it would seem.

Thanks. I think I'll look into the fabric store idea. I can't imagine how expensive that would be to rent in Cabo!

Does anyone have any info about renting table runners. I'm thinking of maybe doing it in the US and then bringing them with me. Here is a pic of what I'm thinking but red and orange instead of the pink and orange.
