hey Tammy, what does it say above your kitchen window?

We need paint BIG time and we have a ton of open/negative space on the walls...especially in our long hallway. ....I've started to notice that my whole house is practically decorated in my favorite colors...for some reason I love red/burgundy and gold....I know sounds like christmas, huh? you're right, it is hard to find the $ to spend on the house when you're trying to plan and pay for a wedding...so it's been baby decorating steps for me.

I love your new kitchen. Amy ~ your house looks model perfect! and, who had that amazing closet ...the small extra roomed turned closet...I want that too! Rebecca~ Love all the windows...Your place is so light and bright....it makes it feel bigger than it is, I'm sure. I love the idea of the tv over the fireplace. we wanted to do that too, but our fireplace is built up off the floor, so we'd have to look really high up to watch tv. Yari ~ I want your pool!! And, your couch looks super comfy. Tammy~ Your kitchen is beautiful. I really like the granite color with the cabnits and your two way fireplace. We bought our house 3 years ago and still haven't finished decorating or painting. We're still missing some window coverings. I made curtains and hung shades the day before our superbowl party just because I was so embarrassed to have everyone over for a 2nd year in a row with no window window coverings....the hallway upstairs is next for blinds! I'll have to take some pics to share. It's fun to see other people's homes that we "talk" to every day. ooo...my house cleaners came today, so maybe I'll take pictures tonight...I love when they come!

Jackie, I'm sorry but I agree with Ann...you could find a beautiful fabric for the table runners and they are sooo easy to make...you could find a dark blue with a print maybe a pink print...I made mine and it wasn't really hard. I could walk you through it. As for the bamboo table runners....I think they are nice, but will they fancy enough with the rest of your decor? It's hard for me to picture them.

I almost ordered it about a year ago and then started doing the bar method body videos, since I heard it was the same kind of concept as fluidity. I am just horrible at actually doing excercise. Thanks for posting your thoughts on it...it looked really cool.

Jaime ~ Not sure how I missed this thread, but I'm so sorry you are in so much pain...I've heard that kidney stones are horrible!! I took a co-worker to the hospital a few years ago with one...I know they are sooo not fun!! I can't believe that it has been so many weeks....I'd be going crazy if I were you. I hope you get some good news on Monday!! I'm keeping you in my thoughts!!

I thought I remembered reading your review, but didn't remember the stressful part.....I think we all have some level of stress during our wedding(s)...mine was a finger that needed stitches...ha! I'm sure the private second ceremony in Hawaii will be much more relaxing!! I'm jealous...I want to go back to Hawaii!! We need to tell Juan to hurry up with your pictures.. ...he is a very busy man!!

Did I miss your review and photos? It was really nice to have a private legal ceremony with just the two of us...I'm sure you'll enjoy it too. I hope you will share some pictures!! Dorys Foltin's website looks really nice.

Wow! That is really horrible. I agree that you are not over-reacting in the least! I'd be upset, nervous and scared too. You've got a lot of great advice already.... I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I looked into having my welcome reception there....basically you would be working off of a banquet menu similar to what you would see as appetizers for a reception....this option was too expensive for us..I wanted to spend the money in other places. If you pm me with your email address, I'd be happy to send you the app. menu and prices that I have ...they will be a little outdated..I was married in June 07. We looked into doing the welcome reception at the Tequilla Bar or Pithyasis (sp?). We ended up hosting the welcome reception in our room..we had a 2 bedroom timeshare suite and I rented a couple of chaffing dishes from my wedding coordinator..we bought all the stuff at Costco and made chicken and shrimp tacos, salsa and guac...it saved us a lot of $$ but was a lot of work. We were able to offer more food and drink and therefore have the party go later in our room than we would've hosted if we did it somewhere else at the resort. The Sheraton will also let you have a bon fire...I think it was $500 for set-up and I think you could arrange for a bartender, but I don't remember anything about food...I think it included stuff for smores...sorry I don't remember all those details.

I just carried mine on the plane propped up in one of my carry-on bags...I just had to be extra careful with it, but it made it home just fine.
