Tony and I did our legal ceremony in Maui on Wednesday. Here are some pics. Our minister was Marc Grodan Maui weddings, Romantic and affordable Maui weddings. ....Marc was great!! These pics are were snapped by Tony's best friend and business partner. You'll see him in the last picture. Later in the day we had LaShawn (he was so fun to work with Maui Destination Wedding Photographer Lashawn Photography Maui Wedding and Portrait Photography on the island of Maui, Hawaii ) take some professional photographs for our "engagement" session since our "real" wedding is in Cabo in June. I'll post his pics in a separate post once I receive them. I was bummed that I couldn't take either Jonathan or Leigh with me to do the engagement session, but lucky me Jonathan will shoot my Cabo wedding and Leigh did my boudoir pics! Okay, here are the pics...

good to know Ann. I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to carry them on, but then worried about the whole weapon thing too. I even sent an email to TSA with this same question. They basically said that it is up to the TSA worker at the airport....lot of help that answer was!

if you can get to San Diego by 6am tomorrow, I'll stuff you in my suitcase! I'd certainly rather YOU take our photos than anyone else!

no, you're not imagining. The legal ceremony will be 5/23 and our Cabi wedding is on 6/23....easy dates to remember!

Ann, It is really easy to get married there. You just have to have an appointment for your license (pay $65) and then get married sometime in the next 30 days by someone who is licensed to perform the ceremony in the state of HI. I'll let you know how our minister person is (we're paying him $200). I'm sure you could plan the whole thing while you are there.

I just used the standard white boxes (Lenita's boxes are much prettier). I got mine here: Literature Mailers - White - Uline mine were 7/38 x 7 3/8 x 1 3/8. Hope this helps...sorry I didn't see this thread sooner.

yes, I'll post them. We'll have one friend at the legal ceremony, so I'll ask him to take a few pics for us. So, I'll post both professional pics and the legal ceremony pics.

We have an appointment to get the marriage license and I've already filled out the application, so hopefully it will be an easy process. ...how exciting that you leave in just over 2 weeks!! Can't wait to hear all about it and see your pics!

Thanks Ann! We're not doing formal pics of the ceremony, just an engagement session the day of ...we need some pics for our Cabo stuff anyway and we don't have any really nice pics of us. When do you leave for PV?

I can't wait for you to shoot my wedding either!!! You're going to get some awesome photos....i just know it. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to have you and Leigh both shoot pics for me (and Tony). My wedding is only 1 month, 1 week and 1 day away....geez that is soon!

Thanks for the nice compliments. Leigh was great! I was a bit nervous, but it was a lot of fun. I love the outcome.....they look great! Thanks Leigh for making me look beautiful! I actually had my make-up done at MAC. I told the girl what I was doing and she was all about the smokey eyes. I was afraid it was a bit much, but I think it turned out good on film. I've never worn that much make-up in my entire life....but, it was fun to feel like a playmate for a day for my honey. Tony is going to love these! Thanks again Leigh for a fun afternoon!

I agree. I wouldn't separate the SO's from the bridal party either. I've been a SO who didn't know anyone at a wedding and it sucked to have to sit with people I didn't know.
