  1. welcome renee... glad to have you on board
  2. Tammy no need to worry i am 6/16/07 and I picked out our cake in 5/06.
  3. Unfortunately I am getting ours from Dreams I think they are $3-$5 each. I also recommend Home Depot there. See who's getting married around your date to share the cost! Also while I can't remember the knottie name now, she was married at dreams on the beach and did a great banner with their initials. It was held by shepard hooks in the sand. I looked really nice. also try tall ribbon wands which would look great in the breeze
  4. Hey Monica before Cabo I was getting married in PV. Info about vendors wasn't as easy to find with the exception of florists. For a modest charge, krisitin of the dazzling details would coordinate for you. Another thing is they have a wal-mart down there so that should help with oot bag goodies and votives and such. visit: www.thedazzlingdetails.com i also contacted other coordinators but she's the most reasonable, attentive and has a great style
  5. PBSB is such a great property!!!! We bought a timeshare there you are going to love it. As far as flowers you are closest to the Flower Cart and Floeria Shadia. Check out the photography post... you can't go wrong but book them soon. Oh yeah!!! PBSB gets really windy and chilly at night bring a jacket and wraps.
  6. Congrats Ylan!!!! You were absolutley beautiful... kudos on the side pony tail. Also great color, I can't wait to see more pics. Thanks for creating your review and sharing your pics with us. Thank your sister too!!!
  7. Hey I'm in this would be fun especially since I don't have a traditional work office to do this at
  8. Wendy, first of all congrats!!!! I agree with Nicole; you by far have to be the most patient bride in the world. I think that I would've lost it my first day there. I am totally siked to see your pics!!!!
  9. Tammy I checed out these shoes a couple of months back at the SW store. They're awesome... I'm a shoes girl!!! I was worried about the thong style for the entire evening. Were they comfortable?
  10. This is a great dress style. the fabric is going to flow beautifully in the breeze.
  11. Good Luck Maria... have the most wonderful wedding ever you deserve it. Can't wait for the review and pics!
  12. OMG! These girls have done such a great job designing these dresses. Some you can't even tell!
  13. The pics are fabulous! I am sooooo in love with the bonfire set-up. The nights got really cool to me so this is a fabulous idea. I've requested a beach bonfire at Dreams as well however I am sure that the set-up won't be as elaborate. Happy planning to all of the RIU brides

I am pretty short, at 5'3'' so maybe that had something to do with it. May I suggest a too small bra if you don't want cups sewn in.
  15. We picked DW for many of the same reasons. This is also Maurice's second wedding so we also thought that a DW would include those that really wanted to share in "our" day. Plus, now here comes the selfish diva in me, I couldn't imagine just one day of celebration. Hell, let's have an entire weekend!!!!! Similar to Sarah, FI's mother is pretty highly regarded so that meant even more people to pay for. While we've avoided that slightly DW just seemed like the thing to do and would set our day apart.
  16. First of all OMG he's HOT... " buns of steel " comes to mind. I voted "sure why not!" Maurice and I actually go to clubs together so it's no big deal. I trust him totally and it's only a job for the ladies so it's not like he's cheating or having an affair. For my bachellorette I actually want to take my girls to a strip tease class!!! How much fun would that be
  17. welcome Latoy I am a cabo bride myself but the great thing is ... a lot of the info is universal. Jamaica is a wonderful destination you'll have a great time. good luck to you and once again welcome aboard
  18. Congrats!!!! You look beautiful... Way to go on the veil... the prices are crazy especially since most brides remove it for the reception. How are you going to wear your hair?
  19. Ok just when I thought that I had everything covered...I haven't even started to think about lingerie. Great now I get to shop MORE on the web
  20. My dream honeymoon would definately include multiple destinations for about 2 to 3 weeks. Nothing too long since I'd miss the puppy! It would include Italy, Greece, and Spain. Maybe in the form of a cruise. I'd just like to dock for more than a couple of hours or one day. I also REALLY want to visit the Seychelles!
  21. Welcome Natalie! I am a Dreams bride myself (75 people, 15k budget) and last time I checked there weren't any Saturdays left in June 07 for a private wedding. By "private" I mean the only one scheduled that day. If you'd like to get married in June 06 I say act fast! With the holidays quickly approaching give your guests as much time as possible to decide and pay. Most of us Cabo brides have budgets less than $20k so you can definately make it happen.
  22. I don't think that the colors have to be the same at all. Especially since the bm dresses are all different I would think that the most important thing is that the colors all complement one another. I agree with Janet since it's destination alot of the rules are thrown out or made to be broken. Keep us posted!
  23. My vote is the mini cakes. Whether it's single layer or not they are both great options.
  24. The town of San Jose seems very cool for pics. Also the beach where ElArco is... Lovers Beach I think.
  25. Actually the prices are about right if from the Flower Cart. Figure that they will charge about $140 for yours as well. There probably isn't alot of negotiating room for the urns... that's actually a good price. Bridesmaids bouquet I would try to get at $65 or so. Out of all of the prices I think that the centerpieces were high. I'd try to negotiate somewhere around $60-$75 per table but I think that's even a bit much... try to offer $55. During my site visit we visited Floreria Shadia and there pricing is around the same with about a $10 difference either way. We've decided to use Floreria Patricia the same as Tammy and Felicia.
