  1. Ana they came out great! I love, love, love that you used multiple colors. I would be so excited to receive the STD in the mail if I were your guest.
  2. Have a great time Lenita! I can't wait to hear the review and see the pics. Everything will be absolutely perfect.

Nicole I'd love to see your place as well. It was great that you located a job so quickly. I am keeping my fingers crossed since FI may be moving down there too. I think temporarily we'll stay in Boca. I've been looking on realtor sites and it's soooo hard to pick a home, affordable home. I am also nervous about a new job, I really like my current gig.

Not a snob either but I love a modern but classic room. I LOVE the rooms at: Sunset Beach Pacifica Melia
  5. We aren't having an AHR. I already know that even if I put that together that would cost us another couple thousand at least. We will however show our video very casually and get some food from a local spot $200 max including beer. I think if you have a DW to save money and then host a AHR it kind of defeats the purpose. 6. Thanks Sarah! I have never been more excited. Here's a link to the timeshare rooms. If they look like this I may just jump for joy. Dreams' rooms were my only worry for some of my too high classed guests. Now it won't be an issue at all. Casa Dorada Beach and Golf Resort
  7. I think $40 is more than reasonable. I have the same question as Tammy, maybe she can't afford it. She should just say that, however. I would have a talk with the GF and basically lay it all out. She can sink or swim!
  8. Thanks Jen! I think that I have that darn terrace from every angle but the one you've posted. IT's EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I am: Using the lower portion facing the gazebo for a ceremony. Using the top for the reception, set up basicaly just like the pic. Using a mix of rectangular (2) and round tables (4). Luminaries all over the place! We are hosting approx. 60-70 guests. Now for your concern: Paper lanterns always look great, but they may lose it's affect arranged only amongst the trees and not over the guests. I still love the look though! Dreams has pretty bright outdoor lighting that will illuminate the area. For 100 guests, I'd suggest using both levels. It's such a great space! The backdrop of the infiniti pool is lovely.
  9. Our photographer's (2) travel expenses are the following: Airfare 1046. Room 876. By the way that's for 3 nights at Dreams as well. That way we don't have to pay for meals, it's included.
  10. Kelli which Dreams location are you referring to? All of them? If it's Cabo that would be awesome, hope it's finished by June! The timeshares' rooms look great. How'd you hear about the renovations?

Definitely agree! I would talk to my friend about it as well however, I am not sure how honest she would really be. It can be a simple as: Arranging chairs differently, constructing a chuppah instead of an arch, and of course time hosting in the evening as opposed to day.

Please let me know how yours turns out, I hope wonderful! the Ebay seller is Gianinar Bridal Now my dress in particular wasn't a high end designers to begin with. The material was like a poly acetate if that makes any sense. Basically it's not satin or silk which can come in so many different qualities. The fabric was my main concern. I will definately keep you posted! Keep your fingers crossed. I should investigate how they handle customs as well. I really think the cost covered everything
  13. Mike, while I am not getting married at PBSB I briefly worked with the WC there. She can be rather absent minded to say the least. So I understand your frustration and worries. I actually would call her more than any other property in Cabo. There are a couple of brides who have already gotten married a PBSB or other PB properties. Here's the link to there weddings: The Knot - Page Error Raina & Henri Los Cabos . photos by bradley
  14. I'm an Ebay bride! I am also a China manufacturer bride. The maker just emailed me saying that the dress will be ready in about 15 days so I can't say much about quality. Thus far, service has been easy and attentive. Before selecting a ebay vendor, I read all of the feedback and searched the message boards for comments. Very few have been dissapointed. I have been purchasing a lot from Ebay for the wedding, so don't be nervous. Just make sure you don't wait till the last minute. If anything is wrong you can always get a replacement.

Each wedding is different, not cookie cutter at all.
  16. Jamy, I totally understand and sympathize with your dilemma. First let me say that yes, I am hosting a welcome dinner but it isn't necessary. We selected and AI but I wanted all of our guests to get together before the wedding. I could've easily accomplished this by just hosting a chips and margarita session, hors douevres only or even dessert only event. I did however feel obligated before I had selected an AI venue to host an event each day. Mailny because resort food can be so expensive and I know that my guests saved to make the trip already. I'd suggest pricing dessert or just chips or tacos and margaritas and beer. Maybe your parent's can justify that or even covering a portion of the bill. Ex. $10 on each person's entree.
  17. I am pretty much n board with everyone else. I didn't write "and guest" but most people are bringing a guest. I initially included and guest numbers in my count.
  18. If the budget can handle it totally go for the video. Even if it can't enlist a friend. This was one of my few non-negotiables. I not only want to see but hear all of the great moments of the wedding day. I am using Tomas Baron as well and thus far he has been good.
  19. I build muscle mass rather quickly so my first inkling is that the weights are too heavy. You should also couple your weight training with pilates, yoga, swimming, dance etc. Excercises that allow you to lengthen the muscle and stay lean. Right now I currently curl 8lbs since I want a little muscle. I'd suggest 5lbs.
  20. It looks good! Just like any of the pics that I have seen retailers post online. When can we get a pic of you with it on? The Swarovski stones are a very subtle and stylish tough. W2G
  21. OK Jen I must chime in. Yes, unprofessional pics are good but professional are better. If it's a matter of starting early and forgoing professional sunset pics I vote NO. There isn't anything prettier than the bride and groom at or near sunset. Don't miss out on it. JMO
  22. Angela, thanks for sharing. When I was looking for a tiny frame I couldn't find one other than an expensive on. This is so reasonable!

Melissa I totally agree with Ann, it could never be too much. I lost my mom some years ago and couldn't imagine not walking down the aisle with her pic. While I am not doing the frame, I have located a really tiny paper scrap book where I will affix the pics of my mom and some other family member to it. I will also light a memorial candle and have a pic displayed of us together. If I wasn't afraid of making everyone cry I'd do even more!
  24. Jennifer, 6pm is fine but it depends on several factors: Resort end time Is your group a bunch of partiers? How long are you vendors booked for? Etc. I have included my tentative schedule. Times were picked because Dreams events must end at 11p. I wanted to maximize the amount of dance floor time and photographer is supposed to only work 6 hours that day. I hope and pray that they stay but if not then I understand. 6pm will only put you on a slightly tighter schedule but temps would have lowered and it would be more comfortable for guests.
