Well I have included my photographer and her husband in my count. I refer to dinner as there break and since it's an outdoor reception it's not like I have a seperate vendor room for dinner. My relationship with my photographer is that she is a guest anyway so maybe that has alot to do with my decision. Do you intend on serving a different dish to your vendors?

Registries and DW Etiquette
JPMO replied to ~Melissa~'s topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
So I am in agreement with everyone else about this situation... register. Thise that want to buy a gift will do so, no one will feel obligated. While Maurice and I have lived together for more than a year and had seperate housholds prior to that, we'd still like to upgrade. I registered at Target, Fredericks's and V.S. for shower and a honeymoon site for the wedding. many people will want to give you something whether invited or not. Take advantage of this moment! -
Unfortunately at approx. 70 guests we could only pay for welcome dinner and ceremony. Technically, our parent's are paying for that so we're just covering the other wedding related expenses. If we had a smaler guest list we would have paid for accommidations. We also would have moved them to villas instead and not chosen Cabo.

Bridal Bouquet- What do you think?
JPMO replied to SusanK's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Susan I think it'll be a great look for your wedding. The calla lily is such a striking flower and then to select such a fabulous color would really give you a tropical feel without an array of tropical flowers. I vote that you leave the bouquet as is... no fillers -

Transporting Wedding Dress

I also think that carrying your own steamer is a great idea since they are relatively inexpensive. I'd trust the hotel if they are a popular destination for weddings. to them it's just another dress; they know how to handle it. I just plan on carrying it on the plane. -
Anyone buy off eBay???

That is an awesome idea. Relatively reasonable as well when you think about it's reuse level. It's not going to be too big either so all of the treats will present nicely in the cooler. I know if I were your guest I'd defiantely reuse it. W2G! I can't wait to hear about your guest's response.

How Un-Traditional will your wedding be?

Ok so I am thinking that's a joke as well. Jonathan, I agree with crack being illegal. That should give all single people hope... there is someone for EVERYONE. -

Do you like these for the OOT bags?!
JPMO replied to LEIGH's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
They look pretty Mexican if I may say so. I'd vote skip the embroidery and add a luggage tag. They are really roomy too! You'll have fun filling them up. I think guests will really appreciate such a quality bag as well. It can carry all of their souvenirs. -
Wow! This is the first that I have heard of it but it seems like a really cool idea and definately something that can be pulled off by visiting the Cabo liquor store. Champagne is really expensive down there so just make sure the resorts already include it.

Anyone buy off eBay???
JPMO replied to Shelley's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
My dress is in! While I can't take pics of myself in it I will post what he sent to me via email. I must admit that I was soooo nervous as I opened the bag but it's the best $179 spent. My ebay dress is good! Likes: Same material if not lighter weight than the original Train is slightly fuller, not as mermaid as the original Cups/breast pads were added, without my request Accurate measurement and seam matching Dislike: Original has flowers and so do this but I think it's too many Last ruffle's seem is in the front of the dress (sooooo picky) Overall, it's a great value! Very easy process and seller communicated with me as often as necessary. I would definately recommend for a simple dress. The jury is out about the heavily beaded dresses or high end fabroc dresses. Ebay seller: gianinarbridal Total time:47-55 days, but who's counting! The original: -
Playa Fiesta anyone?
JPMO replied to kimdraho's topic in Destination Weddings in Puerto Vallarta & surrounding areas
Not a Playa Fiesta bride but I have researched the property and it is perfect for a small to medium sized DW. I love that they have catered the that niche and is very reasonable in comparison to other properties. You have made a fine choice and I am sure you'll have a great time. Good Luck! -
Anyone have success with metabolic booster pills?
JPMO replied to Debs's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I have also used hydroxycut but not in conjuction with regular workouts. At the time I worked midnights and it gave me such energy! I also didn't eat much, don't know if it was the timing or the appetite surpressant. I'd definately try it again; maybe even the variety TammyM had. FI tried Xenadrine since he didn't feel an affect from Hydroxycut. He preferred that. I tried it as well as it's effect isn't necessarily as noticable as far as energy. On both however, I eith lost weight or maintained alot easier. -
Help Pick Angela's Dress
JPMO replied to cheese_diva's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Chiming in..... I vote number 2!!!!! I like it with or without the sash so you could totally wear it either way. You looked really good in all of them as far a fit was concerned. Number 2 gives you so many "look" options. Good luck with the final decision. -

Lenita's Moon Palace Wedding Review
JPMO replied to andreslove's topic in Destination Wedding Reviews
Welcome Back Lenita!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited for you and checked Jill's blog daily for pics from your wedding. Jill did a great job and captured your weekend fabulously! You looked awesome, as well as Andre and guests. You looked so relaxed and in love, destination is certainly the way to go. P.S. Loved the shoes! Definately have to check your girlfriend out "after$$$" the wedding. -
Sayulita's Surf Scene
JPMO replied to TammyWright's topic in Destination Weddings in Puerto Vallarta & surrounding areas
In Sayulita is a wonderful property, Villa Amor. It's actually numerous bungalows and room. It's without televisions so you can truly relax. They host some beautiful weddings there as well. -
I have flown Spirit several times! It's similar to flying charter, they have a limited amount of destinations, not too many flight options. For FI and I who would fly regularly to FL it's a great option. I have never had to sit on the runway for a ridiculous amount of time. Customer service has been fine and there pricing is comparable to Southwest. Just yesterday I did hear that they will start charging for luggage and refreshments. I don't mind! It's a nominal fee of $5 per additional bag, you can take only one. Refreshments are $1 each or so. I'd rather be charged $6 than $50 or more if they raised there prices. Now for my DW I wouldn't try to book my group with them but I would alert guests of this option. Not everyone is comfortable flying budget.

Floreria Shadia had plenty of vases available for rent. They are only Spanish speaking. Also, a former employee of F&M is starting her own rental company and may have some available for use. Here's her info., tell her Jenetta 6/16/07Dreams referred you: Denisse of Party Elements [email protected] Good Luck! Also keep in mind that the Mega is supposedly like a Wal-Mart so they may have very simple vases there. Costco's floral department should also have some however they will be more elaborate.

welcome to the site! Bride Lenita aka Andreslove is having her HM there as we speak. It looks like such a great property. I love that it's adults only! Nive colors that you've selected!

I am providing the jewelery. At tis point in time it's just earrings, no bracelet or necklace. I will present to them in their BM tote bag. Each pair of earrings is different but made of the same metal and stones. There dresses are different so I thought different earrings were appropriate. I found my earrings at Stein Mart on drastic clearance $3 each!
