lol, Laura, I know what you mean, that happens a lot with Erik. He loves it. At one point we were walking out of the market when this girl actually ran up to him and gave him her number (she was like 17) or so...I got so pissed. Erik just laughed it off.

Does an apostille and all that stuff apply for Cabo weddings? I know down in PV, RM and Cancun it does.... I don't know? What's that? Also how do I go about with the license when I go back to Orange County? What are the steps....for those of you in CA.

ok. so Maye will let me know if Jugde and private beach area is available but I have to wait till Monday to find out. She said she will send me all the information then. Now I really need to pick up my dress this Tuesday...I'm going to wait over the weekend Carol is still mad at me. I really need to get it altered. I want to call Manuel now but I have to wait till I get the yes from Maye to see if the judge is available and the beach location is available too.

Guess what! So I didn't leave to San Francisco. I stayed here in Orange county.....the reason is because Erik and I have decided to Elope in Cabo when we are there this July 26-29. I called Maye and asked her if this was possible and she said yes. She asked me what time we come in on July 26 and I told her 2:30 and she said that she will meet us at our hotel that night (6pm) so we can go do blood work. Then we would have ceremony on Sat. july 28. She is going to call the judge on Monday and then call the private beach area to see if they are both available for Sat. July 28. I ended up telling my mom since she was here to pick me up when I was talking to Erik to leave to San Fran. She said she would have to be there so now she is purchasing her tickets, along with tickets for my two sisters and my brother in law, two nephews, and my sisters boyfriend. We are going to tell Erik's parents closer to the date and if they want to show they can show (they don't like Mexico so don't know if they will show) I'm so happy. I have to call Manuel to see if he is available to take an hour of wedding pictures on Sat. instead of e-pics on Sunday. I'm crossing my fingers that the judge and the private beach is available. Do any of you know of a restaurant where they have live entertainment or music for a reception area? My mom wants "The Office" but they only have entertainment on Thursday and Sunday nights. Hi girls do any of you have your timeline for the day of the wedding. For example: What time wedding starts, what time is first dance, what time is mother son and father daughter dance... Basically what you would give to your coordinator or dj so you know what you will do and at what time..... thanks

Erik and I are going to do our own vows....but I'm not sure I'll write them out but says what's in my heart when I see him that day. I know I'll forget what I'll have to say and maybe be crying or laughing....but I can't write worth crap especially ahead of time.... So I'm going to tell him everything I feel about him that day.

Just so you know...you might have to email her or call her a lot to get her attention...she takes awhile to get a hold of her. She took so long to give me her info for e-pics that I chose Manuel B. to do it for me instead. drea

just so you ladies know Erik is on my side....He just didn't think I should have talked to her right then knowing that she was still upset about it. He wanted me to wait to talk to her after this weekend passed. He and I didn't even argue about it last night....We are both tired of the situation....so we just let it be. She now has time to think about it over the weekend and on Tuesday I'll be going to her house after work to pick up my dress and if she wants to talk about list then we talk, I do need her list though

Well guess what I didn't give her the weekend to think about it. Ok...I wanted just to ask her about her hotel list that she was looking at so I could give Tammy an idea of what I'm looking at to book for hotels. Well the conversation with Carol(FMIL) went well in the beginning but then it turned to the worst. She mentioned that she was having a bad day today and a bad day last night and then she went on to say that she tried calling everyone she told of about the wedding and told them that she had to cut the list, that Erik and I only wanted a small wedding....Well she said everyone didn't say ok we won't come, we understand....nope she said that they are all planning to come either way. Well she started to get angry with me and kept saying that she would pay for the extra people which I told her that's great but it wasn't about the money, it was about the amount of people she would have vs. the amount of people I would have. I told her how much it was going to be if we split it evenly down the middle (she pay for her 40 guest list, and my mom pay for her 40 guest list)(about 7,000) Well she then said she had to think about it and that she had another phone call coming in and hung up.... Well I end up calling Erik much later and he says I was an idiot for calling her and mentioning the wedding....That she called him and is very very upset. He said I should have waited to talk to her after this weekend. I'm sorry I only wanted to know her hotel ideas......So now I'm screwed with her being angry with me. I'm tired of this....I'm not going to talk to her till after this weekend. But I really really need her guest count so I can order flowers and invitations..... FUDGE!!!!! sorry needed to vent.

well....he just talked to her last night and it was kind of emotional...so I'm going to give her the weekend to think about her exact list and to calm down (so she doesn't chew my head off....plus I'm going to have to pick up my dress from her so I can go get it altered). Then when I get back from San Fran. I'll ask her for her exact list.

ok update: So Erik just got off the phone with his mother....they were arguing back and forth and he kept telling her to calm down and listen. Well long story short he asked her to really sit down to think who she really wanted to have there at the wedding. So they made a list of 14 people including Erik. Then Erik told me just to give his list 4 invitations...because his mother doesn't want to give the 14 guest all invitations otherwise other family members would think it would be her fault .... so I'm only giving her 4 invitations. I'm so thankful he talked to her (and literally jumped all over him when he got off the phone and kissed him all over) because If I talked to her I know that she would have ripped me up to shreds. ok Real UPDDATE: She called again and added two more. So Erik told her to stop calling him and sit down and really really really think about her list and have her call him tonight with list. Will UPDATE more later ERIK WANTS TO SAY SOMETHING: I hate all of you and blame you for my misery, stop encouraging Andrea

he's arguing with her....cross your fingers it goes well. Both of them understanding. I'm sooooo glad that I'm not doing this
