    TammyB just got married at the Sheraton about two weeks ago. Do you know if you want all-inclusive or not? I would look at Sheraton, Casa del Mar, Westin, Cabo Surf, Fiesta Americana for non all-inclusive and Dreams and RIU for all-inclusive. I'm sure I am missing some from that list but you gotta start somewhere If you are looking for more upscale and your budget allows it, there are lots more choices too....

    I love Fay Cullen! Before I got engaged I would drool over the antique rings. If you sign up for their monthly newsletters they will send you advance notice of sales, and I think they will even make custom items for you.

    I got my dress from Netbride - discount bridal gowns, wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and it came in perfect condition (it was a Casablanca) and even a few weeks early!

    I would just ship the gift to their house (anytime) - it's so much easier than worrying about if the bride and groom or someone in their family picked it up and got it to them after the party, you know?

    I got my girls a whole goodie bag of things: earrings to wear for the wedding (from Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade JCrew flip flops in wedding colors pashminas $25 Sephora gift cards cute beachy keychains from Ribbon Watches, Fabric Belts, Ribbon Belts, Madras Patchwork Belts, Madras Headbands, Ribbon Key Fobs and More! Everything was pink/green so it seems cohesive. I think my girls really loved them since everything was usable either in Mexico or once they got home!

    Jen, I used Bradley Fraser (as did Christa A10CALGAL) - he is fabulous to work with and we had all our photos on DVD handed to us on the honeymoon! His website is Cabo Wedding Photography, Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas Photographers, Cabo Weddings and I think he is up to $350/hr. He is also a member of this site. PS thank you!!

    In a really great location, you don't have to worry too much about what's on your tables. Why compete with the natural decor, ya know? Other ideas are fruit, stones, coral, shells...

    I agree luminaries might be better because it gets really windy on the beach so you need something to keep the candles from getting blown out....

    I sent STD's in January for a November wedding. It's definitely not too early. However, I would recommend not asking for RSVPs this early. So many people will say, I'm coming for sure! and then when it gets close, they might not. I sent invites about 3 months early and asked for responses 4 weeks out.

    I think mine is a 5.75 because mine was the same as you - 6 was too big, 5.5 was too small. Maybe they can split the difference for you?

    I would definitely look into renting a condo or something else where it's someone's private property. We did this and were able to stay in a condo at Casa del Mar for $250/night. The hotel rates are more than $400! And we had a FULL APARTMENT - kitchen, living room, ocean view, the works. And maid service. Now, we couldn't order room service, but that wasn't a big deal for us. I just think you can stretch your dollar much farther. Check ..VRBO® is Vacation Rentals by Owner® Vacation Homes Rentals by Owner or probably a zillion other sites...Unfortunately I don't know much about downtown Cabo sorry
